Varner is going to have problems getting Shalorus down, his striking is better but Shalorus has more power. This is a fairly even fight but I see Shalorus deciding where it takes place which could play a major factor if it goes to decision. Shalorus is just a bad matchup for Varner really.

If Shalorus were to want to make this fight a complete wrestling and top control match, then he takes it. It's just the unpredictability of whether he's going to decide to throw bombs with Varner and his cardio. I haven't seen enough footage on Shalorus to judge his cardio and honestly, I'm not in the mood to go find and watch all of his previous fights right now
His Jiu Jitsu we really haven't seen yet. He doesn't spend much time on the ground in his fights. His wrestling is world class though, his takedowns are sharp as hell and his takedown defense is even better. The only question now is can he land a big shot on Varner and not get picked apart for three rounds.

I def didn't see Will Kerr winning. Would have been nice to bet him.
Yeah true. I didn't bet him but I did in the contest. I assumed (mistakenly) that his last loss via armbar in the first round was just a mistake and he took the guy lightly and would not happen again, considering Karen is a legit grappler. Apparently there's more to it.
Triple-six killers in this motherfucker runnin shit
