I just cant bet JDS,if it was close to even then maybe but Carwin is the better wrestler and hits like a train
Yeah, this is a definite no bet for me... though I do think JDS will win.
I thought Brock might take it before because of his wrestling but I don't think Carwin is quite as good at that. Carwin has dropped to about 250 pounds though so we might see something new from him. I wouldn't be suprised to see him win.
I don't think Carwin is as good at offensive wrestling as Brock, actually getting takedowns. But yeah, I could see this going either way. I really hope JDS just obliterates that steroid cheat though...
I hope Munoz obliterates that steroid cheat too on this card
Im picking Carwin, but its a no bet for me.
K Sos 2.45u to win 1u
Considering Omigawa, Stout, Florian. Omigawa will be too steep i think.
Probably just a magic prop parlay for me, plus my mandatory bet on Maia. Maybe Weidman depending on the line.
Not Carwin, Nunes, Munoz, Herman, Young by sub.
Looks good to me. Oh, and sideloaded was talking shit about your parlays last night saying it would never work. BOL
anyone have a link for Nunes vs Assuncao, Toner, or Brown?
BOL!
As if I or anyone else gives a shit what that clown thinks. I don't even care when real gamblers shit on my system... the fact of the matter is that it does work. The issue is that only one book in the whole wide world allows me to do it, so it is not really a backbone type strategy.
People have been telling me for years that you can't win betting on favorites too. And yet... you can (I can anyway). It is a lot like the stock market, you just have ignore the noise and teh seers and believe that your system for picking makes sense. I have changed things up with the 2 fight parlays and whatnot, but it has always basically been the same thing.
Yeah I pick almost all favorites, props, and parlays and look how well I am doing. I see why people talk shit about parlays but the only real downfall is they tie all your money up into a series of bets. If you know what you want to bet though, this does not matter. I enjoy them because they let me risk a smaller amount of money to win more. I could be just as well off betting larger amounts on individual favorites but I just don't want to do that. You can pick mainly favorites and win, if you are good at it. I rarely bet dogs, but only because they are usually dogs for a reason. I did bet Guida, but it was because I thought he should be favored and he was +190 and +250 by dec(the only way I figured he would win). I could see someone doing well just picking dogs though now that I think about it, it would just be a little crazier. You would really have to weigh the chances and it would be riskier in my mind. At least for me that is, I am not sure I could pull that off.
I think I could win picking all dogs, just not as much. Also it takes a lot longer to let the edge flush out. Parlays are not magic, you are betting more money on the bets further down the succession. The only thing it affects is volatility. If you bet a 2 fight parlay, occasionally you will lose and it wipes out both bets. Whereas had you bet then individually, you would have lost less overall. Parlays make you win faster, but they also make you lose faster. That is all it is. They are neither inherently good or bad. They get a bad rep, along with favorites, because people tend to overbet their bankroll on them. Doing this is as much about mastering your own tendencies as it is about picking winners or even managing your bankroll. You have to find something that works for you psychologically, it is going to be different for everyone. Personally, I don't like swings and I do like action. I fully acknowledge that I am not the robot I am supposed to be. I will chase if I start losing too much. So I try to design my system to minimize my fatal flaws.
Yeah I am schitzo so it is hard to govern my tendencies. Luckily I can channel my schitzo energy into research and I end up doing well. I am looking at ufc 131 now.
Another cool idea I thought of that would be kinda fun for underdogs is attaching them to your magic parlay system. Like for instance "not mark munoz by submission" + every dog on the card, but broken down into individual bets. With the dog multiplier it would pay out pretty well on some of them. I guess the only problem is everyone that you attach will cut down on the number of available fights to pick a dog on. I am hashing this out in my head as I type.
Thoughts on the Herman Einemo, Stout Edwards, and Florian Nunes fights?
did you see this vid on youtube with Mir, talking about how he thought his JJ was good, and then he rolled with Maia and got raped?
Maia had mount once, and was like; "Frank, you can go hard if you want." Mir was like fuck you I am.
Then Maia got on the mat with Vinny Magalese, and raped him too.
Mir said if Maia wanted to hold him down and have sex with him, he couldn't stop him. LOL
