I am done betting every day for a while now and have just come to realize I am going to end up in the hole 3k for 2008.
I think I have found I good way to make a little money in the last couple weeks on football. Right now I can get Pitt at +150 to win the Super Bowl. I am going to put 500 on Pitt at +150 to win 750 . Now all they have to do is win this week and I guarantee myself a profit.
If Pitt wins this week and goes to the Super Bowl they will play Philly or Arizona
If they play Arizona I think the line will be -7 for Pitt and if they play Philly the line will be -4 for Pitt.
At those two lines the ML for both should be close to +165 and +200
I will then put 500 on the dog ml and watch the Super Bowl and enjoy it
Lets look at this as if Pitt wins this week
If Pitt wins the Super Bowl I would win 250 dollars (750 on Pitt +150 win -500 on SB dog)
If Arizona wins the Super Bowl I would win approx. 500 dollars (1000 on AZ +200 -500 on Pitt)
If Philly wins the Super Bowl I would win approx. 325 dollars (825 on Philly +165 -500 on Pitt)
So obviously I would be rooting for the dog in the SB to win more money . I think this is a good idea .Obviously if Pitt loses this week I lose 500 and thats the end of football
I have not decided 100% to do this but am leaning toward it .I will post if I decide to lock it in.
