one caveat with Burns and his won/loss record is that he plays very chalky money lines in all sports (football, hockey, baseball) so that 28-21 record may not reflect his overall win/loss because a few heavy (-150 to -200) favorite money line losers and it kills any profit a guy like Burns and his record needs to be based on what the final return on investment is.

would you rather bet POINT spreads and LOSE sweating out every bet in the last 5 minutes? and ML bets DO LOSE as well I would say its BETTER not dealing with end of the game LUCK of referees, Kickers, coaches going for it, bad weather seriously the teams dont care if they COVER they are just trying to win

I think you are totally missing the point. All the Original Poster was pointing out was you can’t solely go on a handicappers record, if they are known you use ML’s of -180,
-200, etc. as they can have a “winning record” but be in the negative, due to those ML’s. Never was it mentioned that ML are bad wagers as you’re implying they said.
