I think Minnesota will find things difficult both offensively and defensively against michigan. The Golden Gophers struggled offensively against Iowa and Michigan has a better defense than Iowa. Michigan has not shown anything in the passing game but have not had to as they dominate on the ground. The Golden Gophers have won just three times in Ann Arbor dating back to 1986. I look for Michigan to wear down the Minnesota defense with Mullings and Edwards to get the win and cover.

The Texas State Bobcats are one of the best Group of 5 teams in the country. They showed that with their 49-10 win over UTSA in Week 2. And their 31-28 loss to Arizona State in Week 3 doesn't look that bad now. They have been pissed off for two straight weeks getting a bye after that ASU game. They will be taking out their frustration on Sam Houston State when they return from their bye this week. Sam Houston will be playing for a 5th consecutive week. The Bearkats are 3-1 SU & 3-1 ATS and getting some love now. But the three wins came against three awful teams in New Mexico State, Hawaii and Rice. They were blasted 45-14 by UCF in their one game against a legit team. They don't have the firepower to keep up with this Texas State offense which also has an improved defense this season. Give me Texas State.

Guys, I wanna’ talk about a marquee matchup between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Auburn Tigers on Saturday. I think the line is off here, my friends. I feel it should be under a touchdown for the visitor, between 6.0 and 6.5 point favored for the Sooners. Maybe the line is short because true freshman, Michael Hawkins Jr. is going to be under center. On the flipside, the Tigers are having QB issues themselves, and won't be declaring their starting QB until Friday the earliest, and maybe even just before game time on Saturday. One thing for sure, whoever lines up across from the Oklahoma stop-unit will be facing the most talented defense they have seen thus far this season. Granted, the Sooners will be on the road here for the first time in the 2024 campaign. But their defense is so strong and equally balanced, it is scary. Please understand a big mismatch here is going to be between that defense and the struggling offense of the Tigers which have already committed 14 turnovers. There is no way the Tigers offensive unit isn't going to turn the ball over multiple times here, folks. Oh, one more thing, if you're concerned about Oklahoma having Texas up next, don't be, because they have a bye week before the Longhorns matchup. And just in case you didn’t know, Auburn has to travel to Georgia next week to take on the Bulldogs. This game means a lot to both teams. But I think it means a little bit more to the Sooners which desperately needs a conference victory. Take OU here. Thank you.

PLAY ON: Auburn +1

I'm betting Auburn +1 in Saturday's home game against No. 21 ranked Oklahoma. This line absolutely stinks. NO ONE outside of the people living in Auburn think the Tigers have a shot in this one. Yet we have seen the line move in favor of Auburn. That tells me the books know something and I'll trust them on this one. This is a tough spot for the Sooners, who come in off a loss to Tennessee in what was easily their biggest game of the season. I get there is hope that a QB switch will ignite the Sooners' offense, but a lot of the stats for Hawkins Jr came with the game completely out of control. It won't be so easy on the road against a pretty good Auburn defense. Tigers find a way to win this one. Give me Auburn +1!

This is a play on the MIAMI OHIO REDHAWKS for our Saturday Free Play. Miami Ohio is off to a 0-3 start and it is being put into the group of the winless teams and the RedHawks are the best of the seven teams that have yet to record a victory. They have played a brutal schedule that is ranked No. 4 in the country, playing three Power 4 teams and they were in the hunt in all of those, even the last one against Notre Dame as they were down only 14-3 late in the fourth quarter. The offense has yet to get going as expected based on the schedule with just 25 total points scored but this is where they unload. They came in with questions but have the foundation as they brought back quarterback Brett Gabbert, who is projected First All MAC as well as four of five offensive linemen. Massachusetts has already played three MAC teams and have been blown out in all of those and Miami is better than two of those by far. The Minutemen did pick up their first win of the season against Central Connecticut St. from the FCS in their last game but it was back and forth throughout and they only won by four points as a 20-point favorite and they are catching Miami at the wrong time. They went into the last game scoring only 40 points in the first three games and now face a legit defense and their own defense allowed over 37 ppg last season and have improved by only five ppg this season and that is playing a schedule ranked No. 153. *Free Play Over* UNC is 20th in the nation in tempo for the year. Their tempo was slower the first couple games and has been ridiculously fast of late. Duke 18th in the country in tempo. A bunch of possessions coming here. Jacolby Criswell appears to be the much better option at QB for N Carolina. I knew they were down big and passing a lot, but 475 passing yards last week is still pretty impressive!

Duke’s defense is at least pretty good, but let’s look at who they have played. Elon. Northwestern. UConn. MTSU.

I’ve been impressed by Maalik Murphy in this Duke offense. Duke 35th in pass play success rate. The Blue Devils are up against a UNC secondary that is 113th in opponent QBR allowed.

The UNC defense obviously has major issues. J Madison put up 611 yards of offense on them and a whopping 70 points. Collins still has a lot of work to do on this unit.

This series has a history of some very high scoring battles.
