If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The American League has dominated this game winning 11 of the last twelve match-ups (1 tie). The have not lost a game to the National League since 1996 and I do not believe that they will have a setback when they have last at bats. This is a very important game for Manager Joe Girardi, as he really has something to play for with home field advantage being on the line. The Yankees are clearly the best team in the American League at this point in the season and he will go all out to earn the victory. The same cannot be said for the National League manager in Charlie Manuel. The Phillies are struggling after a hot start and they will be lucky to make the playoffs this season. Manuel managed the game last year and lost and he won a World Series without home field advantage. The American League has proven they can win this game in a variety of ways and once again I feel they have a stronger line-up from the top to the bottom. Play the American League at this low number and watch your money grow.
