                        3/11/09 CBB Nebraska Pk (640)

ANALYSIS: No way can I back a team that has lost ten out of the last twelve heading into the conference tournament. One of the two wins was against last place Colorado and a home win against Texas A&M. The Bears defense has been really bad in conference play this season. They have allowed their opponents to shoot nearly 47% from the field and average 76 ppg. The strength of this Bears team was supposed to be the offense but they have under performed the entire conference schedule putting up an offensive efficiency barely above 1.00. Three out of the last four games have been some of their worse efforts in conference play only exceeding 62 points in one game. The Cornhuskers have the 2nd best defense in the big 12 with a defensive efficiency of 93..1. A lot of this has to do with the fact they almost force 16 turnovers per game, which really says something considering the pace they play at. Not surprising they rank #3 in the nation in turnover percentage on defense. Nebraska put up their best season record in a decade and clearly is the better of the two teams right now.
