This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Rockies.
Washington is 1-6, and Colorado is 3-4 after winning the opener of this four-game series by a score of 1-0 last night.
I had a play on the Rockies in that one, part of a 3-0 Thursday card. I think they offer good value here to keep that momentum rolling.
Mackenzie Gore earned a win over the Braves Sunday, allowing one run over 5.1 innings, but I say regression is now in order here in this difficult road venue.
Jose Urena got smashed by the Padres in his opener, but with that awkward outing out of the way, I see him settling down here in this favorable matchup.
Colorado has dominated Gore in the past, posting a .474/.545/.947 slash line over 19 at-bats.
The Nats bullpen is shaky at best as well.
Colorado owns the superior line-up and I think it is indeed worthy of a second look here on Friday night.
Consider the ROCKIES.
