NBA | Nets vs Pistons

Rocketman Sports FREE NBA play Wednesday 4-5-23
Brooklyn @ Detroit (7:10 PM EST)
Play On: Brooklyn -11
The Brooklyn Nets travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons on Wednesday night. Brooklyn is 43-36 SU overall this year while Detroit comes in with a 16-63 SU overall record on the season. Brooklyn is 6-2 ATS last 8 road games. Detroit is 2-5 ATS last 7 games after a SU loss of more than 10 points. Detroit is 2-7 ATS last 9 games against a team with a winning record. Detroit is 0-5 ATS last 5 games after a double digit SU home loss. We'll recommend a small play on Brooklyn tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky
Play - Indiana Pacers (Game 558).
Edges - Pacers: 4-0 SUATS home with same-season double revenge in this series; and 16-8-1 ATS as a home dog this season … Knicks: 8-19 SU and 7-19 ATS as a road favorites versus foes seeking same-season double revenge exact; and 7-12 ATS as a road favorite versus a .300 or greater foe coming off a loss, including 0-4 ATS when the Knicks sports .575 or greater win percentage… With that, we recommend a 1* play on X. Thank you and good luck as always.

NHL | Lightning vs Rangers
Play on: Lightning +108 at circa
The Rangers are 8-2 in their last ten games, a very good bet at home, and have a hot net-minder in Shesterkin. The Lightning struggled on the road this year, but are waking up just in time for the play-offs. After a four game losing streak, they have trounced their last three opponents, outscoring them 14-2. Vasilevskiy has been mind-blowingly good in this stretch, with 2 shutouts and a .978 (!) save % in his last four games.
New York is favored, but the Lightning are a playoff-savvy team peaking right now. Take Tampa to steal this one on the road.

NHL | Lightning vs Rangers
Play on: UNDER 6 -107
Wednesday NHL Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Tampa Bay and New York at 7:35 pm et on Wednesday.
Both of these teams are coming off five-goal performances but I expect a tighter, lower-scoring affair when they match up at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. The Lightning have been idle since Saturday while the Rangers last took the ice on Sunday. I anticipate both teams using this as a late-season measuring stick game as they get ready to ramp up for the playoffs. Note that the 'under' is 9-1 with the Lightning coming off consecutive games in which they scored five or more goals over the last three seasons, as is the case here, resulting in an average total of 5.4 goals in that spot. Meanwhile, the 'under' is 62-41 with the Rangers playing at home off a win over the last two seasons and 15-7 when coming off a five-goal effort this season. The two previous meetings between these two teams this season produced a grand total of six goals in regulation time. Take the under.
1 Unit FREE PLAY on Chicago Bulls +7
The Milwaukee Bucks have basically clinched the top seed in the East with a three-game lead with three games to go. They are likely to rest some starters playing the second of a back-to-back tonight as they don't really need this game. The Chicago Bulls need it more, and they are coming off a blowout loss to the Hawks last night that will have them still fresh for this game tonight. The Bulls had blown out the Grizzlies by 21 and the Hornets by 30 in their two games prior to the shocking loss to the Hawks. Chicago is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven road games. The Bulls are 5-1 ATS in their last six games off a double-digit home loss. Chicago is 10-4 ATS in its last 14 trips to Milwaukee. Give me the Bulls.
This is a play on the WASHINGTON WIZARDS for our Wednesday Free Play. This is the time of season where teams needing to win to either make the playoffs or work for playoff positioning are heavily bet on and linesmakers have to make overadjustments. Atlanta is part of this group as after a win last night, the Hawks remain alive to avoid the play-in tournament as they are already guaranteed that but can still move into the No. 6 spot. They improved to 40-39 on the season and it has now been 34 straight games where they have been within one game of .500 and while they should win here, they are laying double digits for just the seventh time this season and they have not won three games in a row since January 20 as they have gone 0-5 in their last five games following consecutive victories. Washington has been eliminated from playoff contention but is still competing with a depleted roster as jobs are on the line for the future so these guys continue to play hard as the Wizards have covered two straight overinflated lines and five of their last six including all four games when getting 10 or more points. Here, we play on road teams revenging a same season loss, off a home loss by 10 points or more. This situation is 107-62 ATS (63.3 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (563) Washington Wizards

MLB | Blue Jays vs Royals
Play on: Royals +170 at Ace
1* MLB - Blue Jays/Royals FREE Pick on Royals +170
Wednesday's Free MLB Pick is on the Kansas City Royals as a +170 home dog against the Toronto Blue Jays. Too good a price to pass up with Kansas City. Blue Jays will start Alek Manoah, who looked completely out of sorts in his first start. Manoah gave up 5 runs on 9 hits (2 HR) and 2 walks with just 3 K's in 3 1/3 innings. KC will send out veteran Zack Greinke, who was sharp in his first start, allowing just 2 runs in 5 1/3 innings against the Twins. Bet the Royals +170!
This is a free play on Over.
The Blue Jays are off to a shaky start, but they come into Game 3 in Kansas City off a 4-1 win in Game 2. We expect to see plenty of scoring here in tonight's game.
Zack Greinke will toe the rubber for the Royals, and he wasn't all that impressive in his season debut. He allowed a pair of runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Twins. He faced the Jays once last year, allowing four runs on eight hits in just four innings.
The Jays hand the ball to Alek Manoah, who was torched in his season debut in St. Louis. He gave up five runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings.
The Blue Jays lineup has hit a combined .318 over 129 at bats versus Greinke.

Jesse Schule
