Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 28.

It's Jericho Cup Day at Warrnambool along with a good undercard around the country.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 9 @ 5:32 PM

A race with many chances. GLASSEY MISS (6) got too far back last start as favourite from an awkward draw but finished off strongly. She wasn't far away the start prior behind the progressive Riot And Rose and from a better draw she can settle behind the speed and take running down at the end. Stablemate PADDY MAC (2) resumes from a long break but finished close up in town behind King Magnus to start last preparation when kept safe in the market. If he's wound up, he'll be hard to beat. MISTA RAZZLEDAZZLE (8) was very well supported resuming last start and ran accordingly. He appeals each way in a stronger race. FRANKIE TWO ANGELS (5) wasn't disgraced last start in a harder race behind Cambourne and is one for the exotics. The chances don't end there. SELECTIONS: Glassey Miss can bounce back.

NEWCASTLE: RACE 5 @ 3:35 PM

FREEDOM SQUARE (1) is building up a handy record with three wins and three placings from seven outings and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Gets the benefit of the 2kg claim and should be in this for a very long way. DENILIQUIN (5) shed the maiden tag last time out and will take plenty of confidence from that victory. Rates among the key contenders. OUTLOOK (6) is one from one over this track and trip and can play a role in the finish. The well-related TERWILLIKER (3) will find this easier than recent metro efforts and has placed two from four around this circuit. In the mix. MARAKOPA (4) is another from a handy family and will be near peak fitness fourth-up from the spell. Can earn a cheque. SELECTIONS: Freedom Square to win.

STRATHALBYN: RACE 1 @ 12:55 PM

AITCH D'AMICO (6) was beaten a lip and then came here to this trip and missed 1.5L Finally gets a low gate and rates to go one better. ORDER IS RESTORED (3) runs along and just missed in the same race. Draws to advantage and looks a clear danger. PAINTED ON (4) has been going well at lesser venue and gets the top hoop. Has a wide gate but is in the mix. BENZ BARON (7) is an ex Victorian who will find this easier than town. Won't be far away. SELECTIONS: Backing Aitch D'Amico.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 7 @ 4:50 PM

ELEGANT DROVER (2) came home well here last start to score on a soft track when the race favourite. Has drawn wide but does have enough pace to get across early and will strip a lot fitter in what is his third run back from a spell. FAY CONQUERS ALL (8) only managed to finish seventh last start at Ipswich but went a bold race for second here two runs back and on that performance can run in the money again. Not the worst here. JUST A PATSY (4) has been good enough of late to figure. SELECTIONS: Elegant Drove well placed to win again.

TRARALGON: RACE 8 @ 4:30 PM

FANCIFUL TOFF (1) is resuming. Best efforts have been over more ground but he looks well-placed here fresh. Should make a bold bid. HUNTLY CASTLE (3) was a winner three runs back and performances since have been solid. Well placed here and has to be respected. SILENT COMMAND (4) led them up and fought bravely on very heavy track last time. Is racing well this campaign and cannot be dismissed. Can be mighty hard to beat if he gets the run of things from the front around here. SELECTIONS: Back Fanciful Toff and save Silent Command.
