                    NBA | Knicks vs Wizards
                    Play on: UNDER 219½ -110

Friday NBA Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between New York and Washington at 7:05 pm et on Friday.
This total has dropped with the news that Wizards superstar Bradley Beal will sit out. I still see value playing the 'under' at the current number, but will drop my rating slightly. The Knicks aren't known for their defense, nor should they be, but they have been a terrific 'under' play this season, posting an 8-18 o/u mark - largely due to the fact that they rank dead last in the league in pace rating. Over the last three seasons, New York has posted a 10-28 o/u record after losing two of its last three games, as is the case here, with those contests reaching an average of just 211.5 points - a very low number by today's NBA standards. The Wizards check in off another blowout loss two nights ago against Toronto. The 'under' is 14-4 when the Wizards are off a blowout loss by 20+ points over the last three seasons. With their offense having cooled off considerably of late (averaging 103 points per game over their last five games) and minus their top scorer in Bradley Beal, look for the Wiz to put rare focus on the defensive end of the floor in this one. Take the under (8*).

                      NHL | Bruins vs Rangers
Play on: Rangers +1½ -162 at pinnacle

The set-up: If you don't mind laying a bit of chalk, I think the Rangers on the "puck line" is a solid wager. New York is for sure the "hungrier" team in this battle, as the Rangers enter having lost two straight and seven of ten, including a 3-2 OT loss to these very Bruins here two nights ago.
The pick: Clearly Boston is the better team in every respect, but with a game at the Islanders tomorrow night, the high-powered visiting side could definitely be caught "looking ahead" here tonight as well. I expect another hard-fought contest that's going to be decided late or even in extra time.
This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Rangers on the PUCK LINE.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR FRIDAY, 2/12:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut in the NBA on Friday is with Over the Total in the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Dallas Mavericks. New Orleans (11-13) had their four-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday in a 129-116 upset loss at Chicago. The Pelicans have played 15 of their last 18 games Over the Total after allowing at least 100 points in their last game. New Orleans has also played 5 of their last 6 games Over the Total on the road. Dallas (12-14) has won four of five with their 118-117 win against Dallas as a 3.5-point favorite on Wednesday. The Mavericks have played 20 of their last 28 games Over the Total after a straight-up win. Dallas has also played 5 straight games Over the Total when favored. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.

Pelicans vs Mavericks Free Pick February 12, 2021
The Dallas Mavericks have won four of their last five games, and they're coming into this contest riding a three-game winning streak after defeating Golden State, Minnesota and Atlanta. They have averaged 126.3 ppg during that winning streak, and here they'll face a Pelicans team that just gave up 129 points to the Bulls.
Pelicans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a road underdog. Pelicans are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

The Atlanta Hawks have played a tough schedule of late which is a big reason they are just 1-4 in their last five games. They have losses to the Mavericks (twice) and Lakers all by 8 points or fewer. They beat the Raptors and also lost to the Jazz, who are the hottest team in the NBA right now. Now they take a step down in competition here against the San Antonio Spurs. The Hawks are 2-1 SU & 3-0 ATS in their last three meetings with the Spurs. Atlanta is 6-0 ATS in its last six games as a favorite. The Hawks are 15-4 ATS in their last 19 home games after losing five or six of their last seven games. Give me the Hawks.

#884 ASA FREE PLAY ON Clemson -4.5 over Georgia Tech, Friday at 9 PM ET - Talk about massive home/road dichotomies. We have that with both of these teams. Clemson has been very good at home with an 8-1 record and their lone home loss coming vs UVA, the top rated team in the ACC. The Tigers have beaten the likes of Florida State, UNC, Louisville and Syracuse at home. This one sets up nicely as this will be their 3rd straight home game and they’ve had 6 days off since their last game, an easy home win vs Syracuse. The Tigers already faced GT on the road this year (January 20th) and it wasn’t pretty as most of Clemson’s road games. They lost 83-65 and the Jackets offense averaged a ridiculous 1.32 PPP in that game vs a Clemson defense that allows just 0.90 PPP on the season ranking them 11th nationally. In their last 3 home games the Tigers have held their opponents to 50, 50, and 61 points (Louisville, UNC, and Syracuse) three teams that rank in the top 55 in offensive efficiency. Georgia Tech is 0-4 on the road in ACC play with 3 of those losses coming by double digits. They just played a huge home game on Wednesday of this week hosting Virginia. It was a game that Ga Tech led for much of the way but UVA made a late run and won by 8. Tough turnaround for Tech just 2 days later facing an angry Clemson team that has had nearly a full week off. For the season, the Yellow Jackets have a point differential of +3 per game but on the road they are -6. The Tigers at home have a point differential of +9 on the season and they have held opponents to just 39% shooting at Littlejohn Coliseum. Tech is just 1-3 ATS in their 4 ACC road games and Clemson is 8-2-1 ATS their last 11 home games. Great spot for Clemson to get some revenge and we look for their defense to play very well against a GT offense that has scored 58, 61, 62, and 68 points in their 4 ACC road game. Lay the small number with the Tigers at home.
