Fortuna Sittard have been on a solid run of form of late, netting 12 points from their last six games (4th best run in the league), with Sjors Ultee's men winning seven of their last ten games outright as well, their only loss over their last four games coming against champions Ajax in a surprisingly closer than expected game.
Heracles themselves are on a three game run, but their road form going back to last season has been extremely sub-par, winning just twice out of their last twenty Eredivisie matches when going on the road.

Fiorentina has had a full week to prepare but has been really shaky all season, coming in with a goal differential of -10 in Serie A. The first meeting between these teams produced a 4-3 result as Inter held on way back on Sept. 26, rallying through late goals from Romelu Lukaku and Danilo D;Ambrosio just before stoppage time. The Association Championship Series hangover is nothing short of an urban myth but don't tell that to the Miami Heat player personnel and their fans. A quarter of the way through the 2020-21 regular season and if the season ended today the Heat would be one of the lottery teams with no slot in the postseason bracket.
Since Jimmy Butler has returned from injury the Eastern Conference reigning champions stole a win from the defenseless Sacramento Kings and lost back-to-backs vs the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets. In Miami's loss to Washington, the Wiz were without Russell Westbrook.
Miami isn’t playing with any energy and they have not responded after losses with any grit or passion. All things considered, there is little evidence to support the Heat as touchdown favorites in tonight's matchup. The Wiz' Bradley Beal is flying around the hardwood and scoring at will and the return of Westbrook isn't a negative for the team that represents the nation's capital. The play in my orbit is pushing in on the visiting dog and the seven-or-so points.

Depending on who you talk to, four different basketball programs are the team to beat in the Moutain West Conference. Early in the season, tradition-rich San Diego State upended the UCLA Bruins and entered the AP Poll Top-25. In late January, Utah State won their first nine league events before suffering their first conference loss to Colorado State. Colorado State has four losses on the season, and three of the defeats are to SDSU, Utah State and Boise State are along with the Rams considered the best of the MWC.

The Broncos of Boise State are in Reno tonight to square off against the Wolf Pack of Nevada. Boise leads the conference in offensive efficiency and ranks second in the league in defensive scoring. The Broncs lead the conference in rebounding rate and, as a whole, are the conference's best on both ends of the court. Questions surround Boise due to the cupcakes they have faced and defeated.

Boise's best win is against the Cougars of BYU in early December, and their lone losses have come against ranked Houston and a good Colorado State squad from Fort Collins. The play is on the Broncos of Boise State as road chalk in Reno.

Friday night NBA game between Chicago and Orlando and I will be looking for the Under to be the way to go in this meeting.

Chicago just wrapped up a pair of games at home against New York and BOTH of those meetings held Under the total. The Bulls have now landed Under the total in 4 of their last 5 as they get set for this meeting against an Orlando team that has actually tipped the scales to the Over side with 5 of their last 7 games playing Over the total.

The issue though that Orlando has is the fact they are only averaging 104.8 points per game for the season, so I am not so sure you can count on them posting enough points to combine with the Bulls for the Over tonight.

This will be the first time these teams have actually jumped ball since December of 2019 and it should be pointed out that the Under has gone 9-1 the last 10 times these teams have faced one another.

Anytime I can get a 90% trend working in my favor, I am all for it!

LEG A: GULFSTREAM PARK (RACE 7; 4:15PM ET) // CLAIMING // 5 FURLONGS (TURF)

FRENCH REEF just missed when claimed out of a 12-horse field at this level two back, then was slowed some by traffic congestion until the stretch as the beaten favorite last out. He lures Irad Ortiz Jr. to ride, so he should be included on the ticket. GRAINGER COUNTY regressed after a promising debut victory sprinting on the dirt as a 3-year-old, but he returns as a first-time gelding for a barn that can get them ready. BERNIN THRU GOLD gets class relief and may finally get to show his stuff on turf after 3 of his last 8 starts were moved to the main track. He will need to find a passing gear and doesn't offer much value, but use him nonetheless.

LEG B: LAUREL PARK (RACE 9; 4:29PM ET) // CLAIMING // 6 1/2 FURLONGS (DIRT)

EXTRA DANGEROUS rallied mildly into a fast pace as the beaten favorite for twice today's claiming price. KORCZAK blew clear stretch leads at one mile and 1-1/16 miles in his last three starts and looms dangerous while shortening up in a pace-less race. PASCAL CHANT was fractious entering the gate and nearly erased a 10-length deficit on a day when closers fared well.

LEG C: SANTA ANITA PARK (RACE 3; 4:35PM ET) // MAIDEN CLAIMING // 6 FURLONGS (TURF)

CROSS INDIAN has suspect turf breeding, but he showed good zip last out and just missed in a 5F sprint. Both of PRO BONO'S full sisters were multiple turf winners and he could be a live price play for a trainer that recently sent a string of horses to Southern California. AMANOFMYSTATURE took money but wilted under fast fractions in his local debut at 6F for Miller, but he can use his speed well in this spot.

LEG D: GOLDEN GATE FIELDS (RACE 3; 4:53PM ET) // MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT // 1 MILE (ALL WEATHER)

Four runners in this field were separated by 1-3/4 lengths in the same conditions January 15. TRIBAL NATION was content to track the 2-1 pace setter to the far turn, moved past him while in-hand at the quarter pole and finished second to the stretch-rallying winner. JIMMY BLUE JEANS arrives off a well-bet -- and useful -- debut sprint. He backed off an early 3-wide duel from post 9, re-bid while 3- and 4-wide in early stretch and faded late. His dam was first or second in 11 of 32 starts, so expect a good follow-up try at a decent price.
