110 HOU 5.0 (-110) Southpoint vs 109 BYU
double-dime bet
Analysis:
Byu may well be THE most overrated team in the country.
This team beat the Heck out of a Navy team to open the season. A Navy team that had not had any real practices and had to play in the BYU Altitude.
Then, Byu got tremendous travel advantage spots, getting two teams traveling West, who had to play VERY late start times, AND in the Altitude as well.
That left BYU at 3-0 with 3 huge blowout wins.
Last week BYU struggled at home barely winning by 7 as a 35 poÂint favorite vs. a bad UTSA team. BYU remains way overrated based on their 1st 3 games, and how they face a bad schedule spot on a short week, on the road, vs. a Hou team that is playing with 8 days of rest instead of BYU's 6.
One solid investment on Houston here!

Sorry for the clutter but its worth pointing out the shitty cap by Fezzik here. The BYU/Navy game was in MD, not UT.

Tulane +6.5
SMU @ TULANE | 10/16 | 6:00 PM EDT
We learned earlier this week that SMU lost both its leading receiver Reggie Roberson as well as its leading ballcarrier T.J. McDaniels for the rest of the season. That's a lot of production to replace on offense, and while the Mustangs are still going to be able to move the ball on this Tulane defense, the explosive nature of the offense could be lacking without Roberson. That makes the Wave a lot more appealing here.
Houston +120
The Houston Astros have a chance to even their ALCS series tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays. Confidence is on their side after Carlos Correa’s walk-off home run Thursday night. Postseason experience and the pressure on the Rays bodes well for the Astros. Grab Houston.

HOU +125
HOU @ TB | 10/16 | 6:07 PM EDT
Tampa has its ace Blake Snell on the mound tonight, but that isn't awful news for the Astros. Even though Snell only allowed one run in Game One, he only had to strikeouts and allowed six hits and plenty of loud contact. Houston hitters have always fared well against Snell -- Jose Altuve in particular -- and there's a lot of value on the dog here.
