The Dragons have allowed the highest completion percentage and second-highest yards-per-pass attempt number in the league. That's not great going into a matchup with a Roughnecks team that throws the ball close to 70 percent of the time. And while I'd like to think Seattle can keep up offensively against a defense that's tied for worst in points allowed per game, the Dragons' offense has looked pretty uninspiring, ranking last in completion percentage and yards per attempt. They stayed close to the St. Louis last week thanks largely to their rushing attack, but Houston's defense has yielded the fewest yards per carry in the league. The bottom line is, there's no reason to think Houston will fail to score 27 points for the first time this year, but I have my doubts Seattle can even get to 13 in this matchup.

The Guardians were pretty lucky to win last week after getting outgained by 100 yards, but part of the reason they did was by buckling down on third down, where they allowed only two conversions in 12 attempts. That's a key stat heading into this matchup, as the Renegades will be forced to throw Philip Nelson into action in place of the injured Landry Jones (knee). Nelson led Dallas to just one third-down conversion in 10 tries during a season-opening home loss to the BattleHawks in which the Renegades produced only three field goals. New York looks like it found a QB in Luis Perez, as the team posted its best completion percentage of the year by far last week. If Perez remains under center, he'll need to stretch the field a bit better, but if he's starting, I think the Guardians can cover this line against a backup QB on the other side, even though they've been awful on the road thus far.

My simulations say that FIU wins by seven and covers two-thirds of the time, so you're getting strong value with the Panthers. Western Kentucky comes into the game deflated after losing its showdown with North Texas that was, essentially, for the Conference USA title. The Panthers have little to play for on Saturday. FIU already has beaten Western Kentucky by five at home, and, in a strange scheduling quirk, get the Hilltoppers in Miami again. I'm on FIU.

Seton Hall blew its chance to win the Big East outright with its loss to Villanova at home, and now the Pirates have to go to Omaha to face a jacked-up Creighton team that can claim a share of its first Big East title with a win. The Jays are 16-1 at home this season. My model says Creighton covers almost 70 percent of the time, so you're getting strong value with the Jays.

This is a matchup between two teams that just played Friday. The Hawks are 3-8 ATS in the second game of back-to-back sets this season while the Grizzlies are 6-3 ATS in those situations. The Hawks are also an ugly 10-22 ATS on the road. To make matters worse, Trae Young (illness) sat out Friday, and his status for Saturday is still in doubt. Even if he does play, I like the Grizzlies to cover at home. When these two teams met in Atlanta on Monday, the Grizzlies won by 39 points despite Young playing in that contest.
