We really like Miami in this spot. We are getting a short line on the Miami Heat playing on their home floor, where they absolutely dominate. The Heat are coming into this game on a back-to-back, but they have plenty of depth to knock the Celtics off in this one. This game is going to have a playoff feel to it as the Heat currently hold a 1.5-game lead over the Celtics in the Eastern Conference. This game will have a bit of revenge feel to it as well, as the Celtics hammered the Heat in Boston 112-93. The change of venue for this matchup however will make all the difference in the world. Outside of that last big win by the Celtics they haven't been very successful versus Miami as they are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings with the Heat. Look for the Heats defensive pressure, and their huge home court advantage to be the winning recipe in this one as the Heat win 107-100.

3-Unit Play: Take 628 Rutgers -3.5 over Purdue (8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)

I'm laying the points with Rutgers on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights escaped at home against Nebraska last time out. Tonight, they own a matchup advantage we look for quite a bit in the college game. Rutgers is 20th in the nation in defensive effective FG percentage against one of the worst teams in offensive effective FG percentage. In fact, the Boilermakers are 250th in this key metric. The Knights are 14-0 SU at home this season where they're riding an 8-1 ATS run. Purdue looks good at times but when they do they're usually on their home floor. The Boilermakers are 0-4 SU on the Big-10 road, losing by an average margin of 13 ppg. Add in Rutgers work on the glass and we like them in this spot. I'm laying the points with Rutgers on Tuesday. 3-Unit Play: Take 641 Butler +1 over Georgetown (9 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)

I'm backing Butler on Tuesday. The Bulldogs got back in the win column with a big win over Marquette on Friday and will now look to string together some wins. Butler has been a momentum team covering 7 of their last 9 off a SU win. The Bulldogs have been the much better rebounding team in conference play -- an important note when we consider Georgetown is 0-6 when they fail to out-rebound the opposition. In fact, they're were crushed on the glass by Xavier in a 66-57 loss in their most recent tilt. But most of all we bet numbers and Butler is a solid 4 points better than the Hoyas on the road.
