The Toronto Raptors were frustrated after finishing off a five-game trip with losses in two of the final three stops and took out that frustration on the Charlotte Hornets when they returned home on Monday. The Raptors will try to post a second straight blowout win when they host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
Toronto is still missing All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry (thumb) but managed to set a franchise record with 40 assists without him in the 132-96 win over Charlotte.
The Magic, who were swept in the first round of the playoffs by Toronto last spring, are surging with wins in three straight but are still looking for their first road win as they embark on a four-game trip.
ABOUT THE MAGIC (6-7): Orlando's 4-1 homestand featured an uptick in offense to go with the team's stout defense, and it is hoping the combination travels.
ABOUT THE RAPTORS (9-4): Small forward OG Anunoby scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, in 27 minutes in Monday's win. "He jump-started us there in the second half," Coach Nurse told reporters.

If you're looking for a track meet on the hardwood on Wednesday night, you might want to look elsewhere. The Cavs check in a miserable 28th in the league in offensive rating over their last five games, while also sitting bottom-six in pace rating. Meanwhile, the Heat have rounded into form defensively, ranking seventh in defensive rating over their last five contests. The Cavs do find themselves inside the top half of the NBA in that category over that same stretch. Few teams push the pace less than Miami, which sits 28th in pace rating over its last five games. There's little reason to anticipate a truly up-tempo affair in South Beach on Wednesday. Take the under (8*).

Memphis is going to obliterate bad teams at home this season even without James Wiseman. This just means they have four stud freshmen instead of five. The Tigers are playing with the 8th highest adjusted tempo according to KenPom and are averaging possessions of just 13.8 seconds. This team has scored 97, 92 and 102 this season at home with the loss coming on a "neutral" court against Oregon 82-74. Little Rock is 3-1 with wins over Missouri State (67-66), Southwest Baptist (77-59) and Central Arkansas (76-56). The Trojans are shooting 56.5% from two point land and ideally want a slower game, but I just don't think they can set the tempo here. The Tigers will speed them up and either give up baskets or force turnovers. Give me the over in Memphis home games against bad teams.

I'll take my chances here with Denver putting an end to the Rockets perfect 8-0 SU and ATS run. While Houston has beat some good teams during this stretch, the 4 wins were against the likes of the Grizzlies, Bulls, Pelicans and T-Wolves. Prior to this 8-game winning streak, they lost back-to-back on the road at Miami (by 29) and at Brooklyn (by 7).
The big thing here for me is scheduling. Rockets will be heading to the thin air of Denver playing their 4th game in a 6 day stretch. Denver on the other hand has played just 1 game over the last 5 days.
Nuggets are also a team that's playing well, as they are 6-1 over their last 7 and 9-3 overall for the season. Denver is 11-4 ATS last 15 at home vs a team with a winning record and the Rockets are just 1-4 ATS last 5 vs a team that's won more than 60% of their games. Give me the Nuggets -1.5!
