4 Unit Play. Take Under 47 between Philadelphia Eagles @ Arizona Cardinals (Sunday @ 3pm est). We have done wonders being selective in the NBA and CBB and there is no reason to stop now. If we can go 1-0 on the weekend in the NFL and pick up +4 Units of profit, I am more than willing. After all, if had selected 4 picks and flat bet them to go 2-2, we would only lose the juice with these extremely tight lines. I believe as the weeks progress in the NFL Playoffs, you hit the one weak line and you simply roll with it. Remember, we have worked that strategy sound success doing just 1 POD per day in the NBA and CBB currently. As per this game, I will be rooting for the Eagles. Look, in many ways this is a magical year for them. Sure, it can be argued that it is a magical year for the Cardinals, but we have known that Cardinals are going to make it to the playoffs for nearly 6 weeks. Think about it, the Cardinals division was horrible and frankly, if there are a few more weeks in the division, the 49ers would have won this division. In fact, expect next year for the 49ers to win this division. The Cardinals played well against Carolina in part b/c Jake Delhomme stinks and the Panthers simply did not get up for a Cardinals team that took the early lead and never looked back. Well, the Eagles are a bit different. This team owes most of its success to McNabb himself. Although the Eagles are favored in this game, in many ways they will see themselves are underdogs. After all, it took a miracle in a series of losses to even have the Eagles make it to the playoffs despite a tie. The last time these two teams hooked up it was on Thanksgiving Weekend when McNabb took a lot of heat in the media. He used that to come on national television to trounce the Cardinals by a final score of 48-20 at home. Well, I believe the Cardinals will use that spanking to get fired up at home. I also believe the Eagles will take it as a challenge to stop this high octane Cardinal offense. And, when the Eagles use that dog tag mentally, they do very well. Andy Reid and Defensive Coordinator will make certain that this team plays with that "dog" mentality because they know as a team they do far better as a dog. Heck, in the heart of hearts, several of these coaches are thrilled that this is a road game for the Eagles and not a home game as they respond better with that edge. Remember, the Eagles defeated the likes of the Giants on the road twice and simply feed off emotion. I will be rooting for the Eagles today as they have a "team concept" that refreshing and I would love to shove this up T.O.'s backside to see this team make it to just make it to the Super Bowl. The Eagles realize the only way to get there is by a passionate defense that swarms to the ball and this team will have that edge today as the Eagles coaching staff will not make the same mistakes as the Panthers nor will McNabb make the same mistakes as Jake Delhomme. The Cardinals of course, will be at home and they will not allow nearly 50 points to the Eagles as they did last time around on Thanksgiving day weekend so I expect the public to take a loss here as this game dips under. The Under is 7-1-1 in the last 7 Playoff games for the Eagles and the under is 4-0 in the last 4 road playoff games for the Eagles. I believe the line of -4/+4 has thrown a wrench into who covers this game, but more importantly, I feel that this game likely goes under.
