Paxton v. Action
Paxton has been a stud STUD and as much as the Yankee lineup is easy to back...especially after a loss...this might even be more about Waguespack, who likely gets most of the go early on...if he isn't the starter. His last 3 starts have featured him going for 11 1/3 innings, allowing 15 runs total, and an xFIP that is NORTH of 6.50 each and every one of those starts. Yanks even up this series here and we get revenge after a pretty pathetic loss for us yesterday!

Fiers v. Minor
Pitcher's duel in the ballpark tonight, and while we have backed Mike Minor on a pretty regular basis all season, this ain't the spot I want him, despite being home and with solid numbers backing his start. Fiers is in a spot off a TERRIBLE START where we get him in a much different spot and can play his hideous outing as a small aberration. It is a 26-13 spot and with a line this reasonable the profit is over 30%
Still one of the best hitting teams against LHP, the A's have been even better on the road against LHP recently and have Jordan Baker manning the plate in blue and he is a poor helper of the home team with -9 units won on the season and a 10-16 record.
Almost feels too easy....then again that is just football season MLB betting!

Lauer v. Lambert
One of the very few Padres who actually have a larger persona than many middle of the road starters, Eric Lauer has made a name for himself shutting down the Dodgers almost every single time he faces the team. Different story when he visits Coors, we have the Dads opening as a favorite and due to Lauer's name most likely, and the tickets seem to favor him 60/40, but now the Rockies are the favorite tonight and it is largely due to Lambert being semi-able to handle a lineup of San Diego that isn't all that dangerous and without Tatis and Lauer batting, this is a solid solid price to pay for a winner at home tonight.
X factor is the umpire behind the plate in game 2 of this divison series of cellar dwellers is Paul Nauert, who is the homer ump of homer umps...with just 4 away teams winning with him as chief in his last 17 games back to mid May

Ryu v. DeGrom
Same kind of HUGE discount we got last night with Kershaw...I think the Mets even this all important series and head to a rubber match on Sunday...we also have Brian May behind the plate tonight who favors the home team to the tune of an entire run extra for the home team all season. Cy Young worthy Ryu is still in the fade dept and this price isn't too bad considering!

Lyles v. Flaherty
Since 7/31 Jack Flaherty has 8 starts and has allowed 3 runs in 54 innings!...for and ERA of 0.50! That is borderline Cy Young worthy but not a long enough part of the season...he is UNHITTABLE recently...and gets the Yelich-less Brew Crew visiting at home! Lyles on the other hand has also been much much better since the same timeframe for his new team in Milwaukee.
The Cards are a negative team this month at home against RHP, and the Brewers always struggle more without the crazy danger than is the MVP in the lineup.
Todd Tichenor behind the plate is also 18 Unders to 8 Overs on the season entering his 27th game!
