The Astros have posted football scores over their last pair of games, winning 21-1 on Sunday over Seattle at Minute Maid Park, and then coming back last night to open their series with Oakland by plating 15 more runs in a 15-0 victory.

That makes 4 of their last 5 games Over the total for the Astros.

As for Oakland, they have played Over the total in 2 of their last 3, and are 3-1-1 Over the total in their last 5 games.

Houston enters this game on an 8-1 Over clip their last 9 played at home, and it doesn't matter to me is Vida Blue or Nolan Ryan were working the bump tonight, I think the bats are going to hit both Tanner Roark and Wade Miley.

BELLAS EYES is tough to overlook as the bet in here especially at a long price. Is hard not to examine based on Speed Figures which have been quite good - 57 avg - of late. Trainers don't bring horses back this soon just for exercise. KAPRANCY - When Rojas uses Dominguez there's a good chance for an increase in income. Will probably come out strong - I have liked the way this mare has moved quickly to the lead recently. MUSKOKA SUZIE - Has performed solidly recently in sprint races, posting a nifty 60 avg speed figure. Shows evidence of the look of a money-making play, averaging a solid 58 Equibase speed fig which is one of the most competitive in this group of horses in this race.

OAKMONT MISS - A wise man taught me to play the lone speed horse. Take a look at this thoroughbred. Baird has an 'uncoupled' entry here. Best to watch out for the longer priced half. This horse has a lot of class. A good sign in a race on the grass like we have today. Faced tougher last time around the track at Mountaineer Park. Based on class ratings, this is a weaker field, so I will put this thoroughbred on my list of contenders in this race. LOVIN MACHEN - Last race was at Mountaineer Park in a race with a class figure of 47. Dropping considerably in class figure this time puts her in a solid position in this event. Baird drops this one in today for only her second effort. Should do better than last out. Rider hops back aboard after getting to know the fine animal by riding last race out. That's always a good indicator. This race horse is racing on the turf for the first time. She should be tough, coming off a second place finish in her race on Aug 25th on a sluggish track. I know the barn is serious today. The filly gets Lasix for the first time. I like this filly. Has the highest earnings per race in this contest.

FLIRTIN HEART - This filly raced surprisingly well on August 1st ending up third, but hasn't even visited the track since then. Not really a good sign. I cannot play this confirmed non-winner. Gets the task completed occasionally. EL A VADER - Tough for this closer animal to get up today. Without a hot pace to stir things up, the lone pace is going to make it awfully hard to get the job done. SHARP'S MISSION - Finished sixth in her most recent effort with a mediocre speed fig. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this group.
