MLB | Angels vs Astros
Play on: Astros -248 at betonline
MLB SYSTEM OF THE DAY: Since 2010, after July's, very large (over -200) favorites have been money on the blind. Eliminating situations where they just lost and it is the end of a series as well as isolating first and last series games off of a wins brings it to: 175-49 78.1% +58.07 units and +10.8% roi SU. -- Active on the Astros today
The Angels are 2-8 AGAINST since Aug 02, 2019 as a road dog. KEY STARTER TREND: Probably the strongest and most simple starter trends of them all.... Zack Greinke is 73-18 80.2%, +43.47 units SU as a 120+ home favorite (career).

MLB | Rangers vs White Sox

MIKE LUNDIN'S RANGERS @ WHITE SOX FREE PICK
The Chicago White Sox claimed the opener of this series 6-1 Thursday night, but the visiting Texas Rangers look primed to bounce back with a win here Friday night.
Texas will have a massive edge on the mound with Lance Lynn (14-8, 3.60 ERA) opposing Dylan Cease (2-6, 5.93 ERA). While Lynn has posted a 2.65 ERA over his last three turns, Cease has gone 1-6 with an ugly 6.00 ERA over his past seven starts.
"He's been leaving pitches out over the plate a little bit more consistently," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said about Cease. "And this is the big leagues. Most of the guys are going to be able to consistently get the barrel to the baseball. It doesn't matter how hard you throw." Hard to argue with that, considering that Cease has served up 10 homers over 44 innings of work on the season.
Rangers are 6-2 in Lynns last 8 starts vs. a team with a losing record and 7-0 in Lynn's last 7 road starts. Free pick on Texas Rangers.

MLB | Red Sox vs Padres

Coming off a pair of losses to Cincinnati, the Padres (59-67) will play host to the Red Sox (68-61) in San Diego this evening. Boston will put its 34-27 away record up against the Padres’ relatively weak 29-33 record at home.
Getting the start for the Red Sox will be left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (14-5, 4.10 ERA), who was great against the Orioles his last time out. Through 7 1/3 innings pitched, Rodriguez allowed zero earned runs. Rodriguez has 13 career starts against NL competition, in which he’s tallied a 6-2 record with a 3.61 ERA.
Manny Machado has struggled against Rodriguez throughout his career. In 33 at-bats versus the Red Sox lefty, Machado is batting .182 with no home runs.
Chris Paddack (7-6, 3.44 ERA) will take the mound for San Diego. The right-hander leads the majors with a 70.1% strike rate, but that hasn’t translated into dominant pitching. A week ago, Paddack allowed nine hits and five total runs in 4 2/3 innings against Philly.
While San Diego has just two wins out of their last nine home games against teams with a winning record, the Red Sox have been dominant with Rodriguez on the mound. When Rodriguez starts in interleague play, Boston is a perfect 11-0 in his last 11.
