I give the nod to HONEY DONT here. He has a good opportunity in here as trainer, Hills, has solid win clip with horses going this distance. Hills has him trained admirably to break promptly out of the starting gate. The Equibase Speed Fig of 88 from his most recent contest looks very good in here. NEW JERSEY JOHN - Have to bet on this gelding with the formidable earnings per start in turf route races. He ought to be carefully examined given the decent speed figures. SUMMER MISCHIEF - Win percentage under similar conditions may be the key for this gelding. Has competitive early lick and will probably fare soundly against this group.

VEDDER - Getting a weight break of 5 lbs from last race at Woodbine on July 7th. This could make a difference right here. SHARP'S RIVER - A thoroughbred coming back this promptly after a sharp effort is a good omen.

JUST LIKE LARRY - This gelding hasn't had any recent success in sprint events. I find it hard to play him in this race. COMBATIVE - This colt hasn't had any recent success in short distance affairs. I find it hard to play him in this race. Couldn't make up ground at any point on October 14th. Hard to invest in this time out at the expected odds. Ran way back when on October 14th. We should see a race first. The speed figure last time out doesn't fit very well in this contest when I look at the class figure of today's contest. Mark this animal as a likely underpriced contender. MUSKOKA SON - Last performed on June 2nd at Woodbine, finishing sixth. Unlikely to improve off of that outing in today's race.

FOUR LEFT FEET - This steed hasn't been on the track since Jul 21st. Not even any drills. IM THE BEST I KNOW - Didn't hit the board on June 23rd at Arlington. Followed it up with another lackluster try. NYOMAN - Can't play this horse in today's sprint of 6 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a sprint affair recently. 5/1 is just not enough of a reward to take on most any animal that has run poorly in back to back efforts. Notched a mediocre speed fig last out in a non-classified race race on Aug 11th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that number.

I've got to go with DREAM ON BROTHER. Is a key contender - given the 89 Equibase Speed Fig from his most recent race. Is difficult not to consider based on speed figures which have been competitive - 82 avg - of late. Players should probably take a good look at this one as this gelding has one of the best win percentages at this distance in this group. TOWARDS THE LIGHT - Has performed admirably recently in sprint races, posting a nifty 82 avg speed figure. Could best this group of horses in this race based on the Equibase Speed Figure - 82 - of his last effort. FANCY TERRACE - Must be given consideration based on the respectable speed rating posted in the last affair. Will make a strong outing versus this group.
