AUNT GAYLE - McKellar drops her down to this class. You don't need too much more from the pp lines to believe this thoroughbred will be one to beat at this level. You have to really like that recent race speed figure, 69, which is the top latest race speed rating of this field. GALLOP'S GREATNESS - I have to figure that this shorter trip should help this mare. Mare looks like the lone speed here. She may turn the race into a procession. The Jul 4th race at Louisiana Downs was at a class level of (83). Dropping down the ladder based on class significantly, so she should be in a good spot to win. Trainer, Melancon, has been deliberate with this mare off the layoff. Look for a solid effort today. 15-26-44 are last 3 speed ratings. Improving each time out is something she should do again in today's race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #8 AND SHE SCORES (ML=3/1), #2 GRANTASTICA (ML=9/2), #6 DIA DEL CERDO (ML=5/1),

AND SHE SCORES - Finished fifth last time out of the box. Would have to get better to be there at the wire in today's event. She shouldn't run much better and will likely get beat in today's race running that fig. DIA DEL CERDO - This filly hasn't had any recent success in sprint races. No picnic to bet on her in this contest.

That one looks good in this field. Is ranked uppermost in earnings per race. A dominant try right here can augment the lifetime earnings.
