Should be a fantastic defensive battle tonight in Wichita, Kansas and tonight I see the Michigan Wolverines getting past the Houston Cougars. Michigan comes into this game red-hot winning 10-straight games and 12 out 13 and the Wolverines defense is the big reason why they have had great success as of late. On Thursday Michigan held Montana to only 47 points and 32% shooting from the field. If Houston struggles tonight to score then I see another Michigan 'W' and wouldn't shock me to see another double-digit victory. Michigan is 10-4-2 ATS in their last 16 NCAA Tournament games and the Wolverines are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games.

3 Unit Play. Take #536 Gonzaga -3.5 over Ohio St (7:45p.m., Saturday March 17 CBS)
Talk about a nice second round matchup tonight at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho as the Ohio St Buckeyes face off against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Ohio St took care of business against the Jackrabbits of South Dakota St but didn't get the cover and the Buckeyes have had trouble covering the spread going 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. Gonzaga had a tough time on Thursday against UNCG only beating them by 4-points but tonight I see the size of the Zags taking over this game in the second half. Throw in that the Buckeyes are also 0-7 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games and tonight the Zags will advance to the Sweet 16.

The San Antonio Spurs play their 3rd straight home and will be looking for the 3rd straight win. This year for the Spurs that is rare but what is not rare is the San Antonio Spurs games going UNDER the total. The Spurs are trending UNDER games as of late going a perfect 6-Straight UNDERS and their last two home games the Spurs defense has held the Pelicans to 93 points and the Magic to 72 points. I know the Timberwolves offense has been rolling as of late but if the Spurs play Spurs ball tonight this game flies UNDER and wouldn't shock me to see the Spurs win their 3rd straight game. Minnesota is 3-9 O/U against Southwest division teams and the Spurs are 0-5 O/U against Northwest division teams.

Take Seton Hall/Kansas GAME TOTAL OVER as my 7-Unit CBB Smash for Saturday. This pick falls into one of my top CBB systems and I have this game flying over the posted total tonight given the way that these two teams match-up against each other. Kansas has averaged 81.3 ppg this season while shooting 49.6% as a team and they have shot 40.3% as a team from beyond the arc this season. Those numbers by Kansas came against opponents allowing just 43.8% against overall and just 34.5% from beyond the arc which make the Jayhawks offensive stats that much more impressive. Seton Hall has averaged 79.5 ppg this season while shooting 46.9% as a team and they have shot 37.4% as a team from beyond the arc this season. The Pirates have allowed an average of 79.2 ppg on the road this season and that was against teams that are not as good offensively as Kansas. The O/U is 7-1-1 for the Pirates in their last 9 NCAA Tournament games and the O/U is 9-2 for the Pirates in their last 11 games overall. The O/U is 4-1 for the Jayhawks in their last 5 games when playing a team with a win rate above .600 and the O/U is 6-1 for the Jayhawks in their last 7 games after covering the spread in their previous game.
