6 Unit Play. Take #973 Under 9.5 -105 Oakland at Texas (8:05p.m., Saturday May 13)
Last night in Globe Life Park in Arlington the Texas Rangers beat the Oakland A's 5-2 and when these two teams meet the UNDER is usually the best bet on the board. Last 6 meetings between these two teams 5 of them have gone UNDER and tonight with quality pitching from both teams this game should stay under 9.5 runs. A's starter Sonny Gray has been struggling a bit but Gray has had outstanding success against the Rangers going 8-3 with a 2.51 ERA in his career against Texas. Nick Martinez for the Rangers has also been rocked as of late but Martinez pitches better at home and tonight he keeps the A's guessing at the plate. Oakland is 1-4 O/U against a team with a losing record and the Texas Rangers are 3-13 O/U in their last 16 home games.Comment

3 Unit Play. Take #957 Chicago Cubs -105 over St Louis Cardinals (4:05 PM, Saturday, May 13. FS1)
The Chicago Cubs will look for their third win in their last four games when they take on the Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St Louis, MO on Saturday afternoon. Jon Lester (1-1, 3.27 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) will get the start for the Cubs and he will be opposed by Carlos Martinez (2-3, 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Cardinals. The Cubs have posted a 9-4 record in their last thirteen road games when facing a team with a winning record and they have gone an excellent 19-9 in their last 28 road games versus a right-handed starter. The Cardinals, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here today as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five game when facing a NL Central Division rival and they have lost 15 of their last 22 home games versus a team with a winning record going back to the end of the 2016 season. Throw in the fact that the Cubs have gone 4-1 in their last five trips to Busch Stadium and we'll take them at the pickem or so price to get the road win in St Louis on Saturday afternoon.
4 Unit Play. Take #962 Arizona Diamondbacks -160 over Pittsburgh Pirates (8:10 PM, Saturday, May 13)
The Arizona Diamondbacks will look will look for their fourth win in a row when they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday night. Taijuan Walker (3-2, 3.82 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) will get the start for the Diamondbacks and he will be opposed by Trevor Williams (1-2, 7.98 ERA, 1.84 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Pirates. Arizona has posted a 5-1 record in their last six games versus a team from the NL Central and they have gone an excellent 23-8 in their last 31 home games going back to the end of the 2016 season. The Pirates, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 7-19 in their last 26 road games and they have lost 20 of their last 28 games following a loss. Throw in the fact that the DBacks are 4-1 in Walker's last five starts while the Pirates have lost eleven of their last fifteen games where they faced a right-handed starter and we'll lay the price here with Arizona to get the home win in Phoenix on Saturday night.
3 Unit Play. Take #970 Cleveland Indians -145 over Minnesota Twins (4:10 PM, Saturday, May 13)
The Cleveland Indians will look to get things back on track after losing three of their last four games when they take on the Twins at Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH on Saturday afternoon. Mike Clevenger (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 0.88 WHIP) will get the start for the Indians and he will be opposed by Jose Berrios (3-7, 8.02 ERA, 1.87 WHIP in 2016), who is scheduled to make his first start of the season for the Twins. Cleveland has posted a 5-2 record in their last seven games following a loss and they have gone an excellent 9-3 in their last twelve home games when facing a team with a road winning % of .600 or higher. The Twins, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 7-19 in their last 26 road games versus a team with a winning record and they have lost eight of Berrios' last nine starts. Throw in the fact that the Indians have gone 4-1 in their last five home games versus the Twins and 9-2 in the last eleven head to head meetings between the two teams overall and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in Cleveland on Saturday afternoon.
4 Unit Play. Take #973/974 Oakland A's vs Texas Rangers Over 9.5 (8:05 PM, Saturday, May 13)
Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Oakland A's take on the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX on Saturday night. Sonny Gray (0-1, 4.22 ERA, 1.41 WHIP) will get the start for the A's and he will be opposed by Nick Martinez (0-2, 5.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Rangers. Oakland has posted a perfect 6-0 record to the over in their last six games following a game where they scored two runs or less and they have gone an excellent 4-1 to the over in their last five games following a loss. The Rangers have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone up and over the number in their last four Game #2's of a series. Throw in the fact that the A's have gone 7-3 to the over in Gray's last ten road starts versus a team with a losing record and 10-4-1 to the over in his last fifteen road starts overall and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both starting pitchers to struggle a bit in Texas on Saturday night.
3 Unit Play. Take #975/976 Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox Over 7.5 +105 (1:05 PM, Saturday, May 13)
Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston, MA on Saturday afternoon. Chris Sale (3-2, 1.92 ERA, 0.79 WHIP) will get the start for the Red Sox and he will be opposed by Blake Snell (0-3, 3.96 ERA, 1.62 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Rays. Tampa has posted a 5-2-1 record to the over in their last eight road games where they faced a team with a winning record and they come into the game today going over the total in four of their last five games overall. The Red Sox have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here today as they have gone 12-4-1 to the over in their last seventeen home games versus a left-handed starter and they are an impressive 23-11-1 to over in their last 35 home games versus a team with a losing record. Throw in the fact that the Sox are 5-1 to the over in their last six games overall while the Rays are 5-2 in Snell's last seven road starts and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to put runs on the board in Boston on Saturday afternoon.
7 Unit Play. Take #978 Los Angeles Angels -135 over Detroit Tigers (9:05 PM, Saturday, May 13)
The Los Angeles Angels will look for back to back wins over the Detroit Tigers when the two teams meet at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA on Saturday night. Ricky Nolasco (2-2, 4.31 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) will get the start for the Angels and he will be opposed by Daniel Norris (2-2, 4.55 ERA, 1.77 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Tigers. The Angels have posted a 5-1 record in their last six home games where they faced a left-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 18-8 in their last 26 home games overall going back to the end of the 2016 season. They have also won seven of their last ten games when facing a starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.30 or higher and they are 4-1 in Nolasco's last five home starts. The Tigers, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here as they have gone just 1-4 in Norris' last five starts when facing a team from the AL West and they are an awful 2-5 in their last seven games versus a team with a losing record. They have also lost ten of their last twelve games played on a Saturday for whatever reason and they are only 3-7 in their last ten Game #3's of a series. Throw in the fact that the Angels have gone a lights out 45-16 in their last 61 home games versus the Tigers and an even more impressive 24-7 in the last 31 head to head meetings between the two teams overall and we'll lay the price with them here to get the home win in Anaheim on Saturday night.
4 Unit Play. Take #980 Chicago White Sox +125 over San Diego Padres (7:10 PM, Saturday, May 13)
The Chicago White Sox will look to break their six-game losing streak when they take on the San Diego Padres at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, IL on Saturday night. Dylan Covey (0-3, 8.28 ERA, 1.92 WHIP) will get the start for the White Sox and he will be opposed by Trevor Cahill (3-2, 3.06 ERA, 1.16 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Padres. Chicago has posted a 5-2 record in their last seven games when facing a team from the NL West and they have gone an excellent 9-4 in their last thirteen home games when facing a team with a road winning % of .400 or lower. The Padres, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-5 in their last six interleague road games and they have lost seven of their last ten interleague games where they faced a right-handed starter. Throw in the fact that San Diego is an awful 8-23 in their last 31 road games when facing a team with a losing record at home going back into the 2016 season and we'll take the Sox at the underdog price to get the home win on the South Side on Saturday night.

951 ATL / 952 Mia UNDER 8.5
Analysis: Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and play a zig/zag in baseball. That's the case for me here going under with a pitching matchup of Julio Teheran versus Edinson Volquez.
Before getting into the starting pitchers, I'll point out that Marlins Park is a pitcher's park and these are two below average offenses. The Marlins have injuries with their two best hitting infielders out. Miami's defense should be better than on Friday with former Golden Glover Dee Gordon moving back to his natural second base from shortstop.
Now to the pitchers. Both are considered to be their respective team's No. 1 starters. That's certainly true in the case of the Braves with Teheran, who was very good last season. Teheran, however, has an 8.02 ERA during his last four starts. He's far, far better than that and overdue for a strong start. I believe it comes here.
Volquez has a fat 4.71 ERA on the season and missed his last start due to blister. His walks are way up this season. Volquez is far from dominant, but he's a heady veteran who knows how to pitch. He has a good history against the Braves with a 4-3 lifetime mark and 2.89 ERA in eight starts. He had a 1.29 ERA versus Atlanta last season.
Miami's top reliever, A.J. Ramos, is rested.Comment
