We roll with Penn State here, a team in the Big10 over the ACC Squad in Georgia Tech. We have gone against Georgia Tech in the past and it is no surprise for us to do here. Josh Pastner's team is a decent squad and the former Memphis coach will take this team to new heights over due time. But, per the game, this is a bad matchup for this team against Penn State. This is a Penn State team that is top 80 in defense, a team that lost to Duke by 10 points, lost to a good Albany team by 6 points and just beat a good George Washington team by 8 points on the road. Make no mistake, Penn State will be up for this game in a big way and we see them winning and winning bit as their quality of defense is the type of teams that the young Tech squad struggles against. Don't be surprised to see Penn State win by double-digit today

3 Unit Play. Take #713/714 Pittsburgh vs. Maryland Under 143.5 (7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, ESPN 2)

Two teams that have been trending to the under will meet when the Pittsburgh Panthers hit the road to take on the Maryland Terrapins at the Xfinity Center in College Park, MD in a Big 10/ACC Challenge game. The Panthers have posted a 12-3 record to the under in their last fifteen games where they faced a team with a winning % of .600 or higher and they have gone an excellent 10-1 to the under in their last eleven games following a straight up win. The Terps have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 8-1 to the under in their last nine games following an ATS win and they have stayed under the total in six of their last eight non-conference games. Throw in the fact that Pitt is 10-2 to the under in their last twelve road games while Maryland is 22-8 to the under in their last 30 games overall going back to last season and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to have a hard time scoring the basketball on Tuesday night in College Park.

3 Unit Play. Take #724 Penn St -7 over Georgia Tech (7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, ESPN U)

The Penn St Nittany Lions will look to extend their win streak to three games when they take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA in a Big 10/ACC Challenge game. Penn St has gone 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight non-conference games and they have covered the number in six of their last eight games overall going back to the end of the 2015/16 season. The Yellow Jackets, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games versus a team from the Big 10. Throw in the fact that Penn St has played a much tougher schedule thus far this season compared to Georgia Tech, who already has lost to Ohio and we'll lay the points here with the Nittany Lions to get the home win and cover in a game that we have them winning by double digits on Tuesday night.

3 Unit Play. Take #729 Rhode Island -2.5 over Valparaiso (8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29)

The Rhode Island Rams will look to improve their record to 6-1 here to open their 2016/17 season when they hit the road to take on the Valparaiso Crusaders at the Athletics-Recreation Center in Valparaiso, IN on Tuesday night. The Crusaders have gone just 2-5 ATS in their last seven non-conference games and they have that same 2-5 ATS record in their last seven games overall. They are also an awful 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win and they have failed to cover the number in each of their last four home games. The Rams, on the other hand, will be out for a bit of revenge as they lost to Valpo by a score of 58-55 in Kingston last year. Throw in the fact that Rhode Island has played a much tougher schedule (wins over Belmont and Cincinnati) and that their only loss was a ten point loss to Duke and we'll lay the bucket or so with them here to get the road win and cover in Indiana on Tuesday night.

4 Unit Play. Take #741/742 Iowa vs. Notre Dame Over 156.5 (9:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, ESPN 2)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Iowa Hawkeyes hit the road to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the Joyce Center in South Bend, IN on Tuesday night. Iowa has posted a 4-1 record to the over in their last five games where they faced a team with a winning % of .600 or higher and they have that same 4-1 record to the over in their last five non-conference games. The Fighting Irish have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 5-1 to the over in their last six games following a game where they scored 90 points or more and they are a lights out 21-5-1 to the over in their last 27 games following a straight up win by 20 points or more. Throw in the fact that Notre Dame is putting up 85.5 PPG while Iowa is allowing just under 82 PPG and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams to try and push the pace a bit on Tuesday night in South Bend.

4 Unit Play. Take #743/744 Duke vs. Michigan St Over 144 (9:30 PM, Tuesday, November 29, ESPN)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Michigan St Spartans travel to take on the Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC on Tuesday night. Michigan St has posted a perfect 4-0 record to the over in their last four games where they faced a team from the ACC and they have gone an excellent 6-1 to the over in their last seven games where they faced a team with a winning record. They have also gone 5-2 to the over in their last seven road games and they have gone up and over the total in nine of their last eleven road games where they were listed as the underdog. The Blue Devils have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 5-1 to the over in their last six games where they faced a team with a winning record. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 6-1 to the over in their last seven head to head meetings at Cameron and that's where we'll have our play in a game that our numbers have being played in the 150's on Tuesday night in Durham.

5-Unit Play. Take #702 Charlotte (-2.5) over Detroit (7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29)

The Pistons are awful on the road. Awful. They are 1-8 SU on the season and the home team has won five straight in this series. Last year the Hornets won by 15 and by 20 at home against the Pistons. The year prior they won by 24 and in 2013-14 they won by 18. So needless to say, the Pistons don't play well here. Detroit got smoked by 20 in its last road game - at Oklahoma City - and they lost by 23 at Cleveland prior to that. Charlotte rebounded from a four-game losing streak - two of the losses were in overtime and one was at home against the Spurs - with back-to-back wins. And they played great on Monday in a blowout win at Memphis. There is absolutely no reason why they won't do the same here. Detroit's size and defensive grind won't bother the Hornets; that's how this team was set up to play to begin with. And if you go back to the start of the year the Hornets really have not taken many bad losses. They lost to the resurgent Pelicans and the Knicks - both on the road and both in overtime. Other than that it has been teams like the Celtics (at full strength), Raptors, Cavs and Spurs that have beaten this team. There is just no reason that this spread isn't 6.5 so we will play the value.

3-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 210.5 Cleveland at Milwaukee (8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29)

Until someone shows that they can stop the Cavs I don't think there is a reason not to bet them to play 'over'. They have scored 120 points or more in half of their last six games. They have been held under 100 points exactly twice this year and they have cored 110 or more seven times already. I don't think the Bucks are as good defensively as their numbers suggest. And this is a team that likes to run when it plays at home. The Bucks have played two games against the lowly, low-scoring Magic in the past week. That has dragged down some of their numbers. But beyond that they have scored at least 99 points in all but one of their home games this year. I see Cleveland topping 110. I see the Bucks topping 100. I see this one going 'over'.

2-Unit Play. Take #708 New Orleans (-5.5) over L.A. Lakers (8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29)

This is a revenge game. The last time the Lakers came to town they outright humiliated the Pelicans, winning by almost 30 points. That was a completely different Pelicans team. New Orleans has been playing pretty well the last two weeks and getting Jrue Holiday back has made a world of difference.

2-Unit Play. Take #710 San Antonio (-13) over Orlando (8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29)
1-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 195.5 Orlando at San Antonio (8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29)

Since being called out by Coach Pop, the Spurs have been a buzzsaw. They have scored 119, 109 and 112 points in their last three games. That came after being held to just 96 versus Dallas. But prior to that the Spurs had scored 116 and 110. That means they have cracked 109 points by themselves in five of their last six games - all on the road. I expect them to do even more damage at home against the lowly Magic. Orlando has lost to three really bad teams in a row, all at home. They haven't even really played any of the top-end teams in the NBA this year. The last time they did they lost by 32 at Chicago. They also lost by 19 at Indian (though they did lose by just six points at Cleveland and somehow won at Oklahoma City a couple weeks ago). Orlando has been awful this year and have done so against an easy schedule. I really don't like to lay this many points but in this spot I feel like it is warranted.
