Alright this is the email you all have been waiting for. The futures!!! If you have been following my success the past years I have predicted 3 of the last 5 world series winners. All at odds at 10-1 or higher. I never take the favorites and this has resulted in huge payouts. Last year we hit the royals at 30-1 then 2 months later the broncos lat 16-1 which paid me out 2.5 million and 2.3 million respectively. This year is a little tricky because all arrows are pointing at the Cubs winning it all and it should be. They are stacked at hitting and have the best pitcher in the majors with Arrieta. They do lack in the bullpen but they will def make some moves at the trade deadline to fix any wholes they need to. So not only do they have the best record in the majors but they also have the money and prospects to make moves if need be and they will for sure no doubt about that. Now everyone said I was insane to put over a 100k on KC last season, a team that has not won a WS in 30 years so you may say Im crazy this year too. But this year Im riding with the Texas Rangers. They have great value at 15-1 odds now at the various sports books. Don't bet a William Hill books their odds are down to 9-1. Here is what I recommend doing. I would invest my money on Texas to win their division its +180 to +200 throughout vegas. Some books don't offer it so you need to shop around. To me this is the best future bet possible. Usually I don't give out reasons for my plays but this year I will. There are 5 teams in the AL West. Eliminate two of them, Oakland and the Angels. Oakland is garbage and they will always trade away their best players at the trade deadline to rebuild their team with future prospects. GM Billy Bean is notorious for this. So Josh Reddick and Sonny Gray may be traded away by seasons end. Angels have one player, Mike Trout. Thats all. They have so many injuries and zero bats. They have no chance at winning that division. Now the Astros were the season favorites to win the division. They are in last place but they will make a run. They are always a dangerous team at home. However their bottom 5-9 of the lineup all hit in the low 200s just like last year and you can't win just hitting the long ball all the time. Their pitching has also declined from last year and Kuechel will not win 20 games again and Mcugh won't win 19. Keuchel has lost 4 miles off his fast ball and its evident this season. Seattle sits in first place now. However they really have one player carrying that team which is Cano. Problem with him he's injury prone and very rarely makes it through a whole season without an injury. Seattle has vastly improved from last season but its early. I don't believe they are a complete team to win that division even though they are in first place. Now here is why I love Texas. Its also a perfect time to bet them while they are in 2nd place and not 1st. Seattle for the rest of May has an easy schedule and texas has a tough one. So don't be worried if seattle goes up 4-5 games on them. In the long run I believe Texas wins the west. If you remember last year Texas was in last place at the halfway season in the west and I told you all to bet them to win the division. ESPN gave them a .02 percent in winning the division but I didn't agree. Guess what? They had the best record in the majors the 2nd half and won their division. 60k paid me 580k. Also keep in mind Texas last year should of played the royals in the ALCS not the blue jays. Texas made 3 errors in the 8th inning and lost that game. They are a better team than people think and they are flying under the radar. Texas is playing now with 4 key players out. Robinson Chirinos their starting catcher, he comes back in 40 days, They are currently rotating 2 back up catchers now. Keon Kela who is one of their best bullpen guys. He's out till late July. Former All Start Shin Soo Choo has been out for a month with a calf injury and will be back in 2 weeks. Finally the most important injury comes back in 3 weeks. Yu Darvish!!!. He led the league in strikeouts 2 years ago. He missed all of last season with tommy john surgery. He's one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball. Ive been following him through his rehab stint and he's hitting 97mph and his split finger is on point again. With Hamels and Darvish the rangers have to me the best 1-2 combo in the majors. I also think they will have the best starting 5 in the majors with Lewis, Perez, and Holland. Their weakness is their bullpen which was lights out the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully they demote Tolleson from the closer ( to me he's not the closer you need to win a ring) and promote Dyson to that job. Keep in mind that Texas has the money and prospects to trade for bullpen help when the trade deadline comes. They will spend the money and make the trades just like the royals did last year in acquiring Cueto and Zobrist. Texas has one of the best farm systems in the majors so they have the ability to trade for top of the name players when need be. I believe their pen with another arm or two will make them solid like the 2nd half of the season last year. 1-9 hitters to me are the best in MLB with the cubs and red sox up there with them. Look at this batting order
Odor, Mazara, Beltre, Fielder, Desmond, Moreland, Choo, Andrus, Chirinos. To me Odor is the best kept secret in all of MLB. Remember I said this and remember his name. Odor!!!!!! He will be the starting 2nd baseman for many all star games to come. How do I know all of this? I had texas circled for this season as soon as the royals won it all last year. I already began doing my homework months ago and I have watched every game this season. I know this team like I knew the royals last year. Everything about every player. When this lineup is all back together in the next 30-60 days they will be an offensive juggernaut. Keep in mind that Fielder is hitting 198 as the cleanup hitter and they are still in 2nd place. Once he gets going watch out. They will have the top of the line starting 5 rotation and a deadly batting lineup. Again, Kela comes back at the end of July to solidify the pen plus they will make a trade to get some bullpen arms.
My advice put what you can afford to do on Texas to win the AL West +200 odds. Thats my strongest pick. Some books lets you parlay them. You can bet texas straight up. Then also parlay them with other teams to win their division. For example Texas with Boston or Texas with Cubs, or Texas with White sox.
I would also bet Texas to win the AL pennant. +600 That means Texas will represent the AL in the WS
If you have the balls you can bet texas to win the WS at 15-1 odds. But thats risky because the cubs are so dominant and hard to beat. Sprinkle a tad on this bet. But if we can hit texas to win the division and texas to win the AL pennant that would be very nice hits for us. Again I would focus on them to win the division and pennant. If that cashes you can bet them for the WS.
Back up bets, I always give you a few back up bets with good value
Whitesox 12-1 odds
Red Sox 12-1
Cardinals 25-1.
As a prop bet you can take the cubs to face the white sox in the WS for +1800 but just for fun and small
Remember theres the wild card and I have a small hunch that if the cardinals can sneak into the WC they have a good chance of beating the cubs. Cards have the money to acquire a big bat as they spent hardly any money in the offseason. Don't sleep on this team. Their pitching is better than its performing now and remember pitching wins championships not hitting. Im hoping and predicting for a Rangers Cardinals WS or Rangers Cubs WS Good luck this season and go Rangers!!!!!
