Taking OREGON STATE here. Will back the Beavers here. I thought this team was going to be pretty good this year. A little disappointed in them going 6-6, but I expect a big effort here to end the year with a winning record. What I see here is a prolific Oregon State offense that doesn't get much help defensively. They did have a 5 game losing streak. Those teams, Stanford, USC, Arizona State, Washington and Oregon. That is a tough stretch. I know that Boise has been a small-school darling, but they have lost their HC. Not sure they are going to be excited here. It isn't like they are playing a proverbial BCS Conference power-house. How 'up' will Boise be as they have an assistant leading them. As for the Beavers. They want to wipe that 5 game losing streak out of their mouths. QB Sean Mannion had a monster season tossing for 4400 yards and 36TDs. He has a great WR in Brandin Cooks who reeled in 120 passes for nearly 1700 yards. 5* Best Bet OREGON STATE

Everyone’s logic of thinking is Boise State lost their coach and their QB Joe Southwick is suspended. For starters Southwick was injured half of the season and was not really the current starter anyway. Losing the coach is never good, but these kids know how to play football here in the last game of the year. Oregon State has not won a football game since October. They are losers of 5 straight and remember they lost to a D-1AA school week one of the season. The key for Boise is running the football which stopping the run is a nightmare for Oregon State as they are about as bad as you can get in College Football. So Boise should keep it simple. Run the ball keeping the Oregon State offense off the field which therefore gets them out of a rhythm. This is a pretty even matchup, but I just can’t back a team that backed their way into a bowl game. Take Boise.

Boise opened as a 3-point fave and the news of Hartwick's dismissal and Coach Petersen's departure moved the line to its current number. Frankly, I loved Boise at -3 and love them even more at 3/3.5. OSU is still heart-broken over that near upset of rival Oregon, that was their Superbowl, and they are still talking about it as major letdown. Meanwhile, Boise will be looking to impress their new coach and the news of Hartwick doesn't concern me at all. I actually like QB Hedrick and his mobility better in this match up! OSU is completely one-dimensional and this is always a kiss of death and a big reason why they dropped 5 straight down the stretch. The whole world seems to be riding OSU but not me, I'm taking a more motivated coach, a former Bronco player and coach who is looking to impress out of the gate against a team who left it all on the field against their rival. Let's take Boise knowing certain teams are a PERFECT 25-0 SU and ATS if they average 200 or more yards rushing and facing an opponent who gives up more than 5 ypc.
