Yuppers, this will not be a popular one for most folks, but I see value city here on the Padres team total tonight. 1st off these Padres are very strong vs LH pitching, ranking 1st in the N.L. in both .OPS (.739) and in HR's (42). Add on how used the Pirates bullpen has been the last few games, and I really do like these Pads to at least plate 3 runs for us tonight. San Diego is NOT one of the "quit teams" as they are still giving max effort and Pirates hurler Liriano has been much better when pitching at Home (1.39 ERA) as opposed to his (3.75 ROAD ERA). Let's cash another MLB Team Total tonight.

The Steelers come into this game pretty banged up. This is one of those teams that have most of their positional battles locked up and can give a long look at the young guys tonight. I really do not like the Steelers back up receivers. Outside of the main 2-3 guys there is no experience at all. The Redskins are a younger team that has a lot more to work on. I like the fact they are at home and feel they will be more mentally focused for this game. Take Washington.

*3 Star MLB Oddsmaker Error* The Boston Red Sox have the second best offense in baseball. The San Francisco offense isn't great, but they heated up nicely in Miami this past weekend. They are slowly getting a little healthier. Tim Lincecum and Jon Lester used to be considered two of the best pitchers in baseball, but not any more. They both have poor ERA's this year, and both of them are capable of giving up the big inning at any time. Lincecum will struggle to hold down this strong Boston offense. Lester hasn't been shutting anyone down, and the Giants are better at home. I expected a total of 7.5 or even 8. Take advantage of this error from the oddsmakers. Take the over.
