2 UNIT = Cincinnati Reds @ Chicago Cubs - REDS TO WIN (-118) *ALREADY STARTED*
    Listed Pitchers: Latos vs Samardzija
(Note: I'm risking 2.00 units to win 1.69 units)

2 UNIT = Philadelphia Phillies @ Minnesota Twins - TWINS TO WIN (+130)
    Listed Pitchers: Lee vs Correia
(Note: I'm risking 2.00 units to win 2.60 units)

The Minnesota Twins are going for a sweep of the Phillies tonight at home after 3-2 and 4-3 victories. The Twins are 29-33 on the season and 15-14 at home, while the Phillies are 31-35 on the year and just 15-20 on the road. Philadelphia has lost 5 straight games scoring just 13 runs over those 5 games. The Twins haven't been putting up too many runs themselves lately, but they've won 4 straight home games and 6 of their last 7 at home. Cliff Lee will be on the mound for Philadelphia and he has been solid with a 7-2 record, 2.55 ERA, .226 OBA and 1.01 WHIP. In his last two outings he has pitched 14.2 innings (both vs Milwaukee) giving up 15 hits and 6 earned runs (7 total runs). The Twins will counter with Kevin Correia who is 5-4 on the year with a 4.11 ERA, .298 OBA, and 1.32 WHIP. At home he is a solid 3-1 with a 2.95 ERA over 6 starts. The Phillies are 8-5 in Lee's starts while the Twins are 8-4 in Correia's starts (and 3-0 in his last 3). Philadelphia is just 1-6 in Lee's last 7 interleague starts, and 0-4 in his last 4 starts as a road favorite between -110 to -150. Philadelphia is also an awful 5-14 in their last 19 interleague games and 1-8 in their last 9 interleague road games. Minnesota is 4-1 in their last 5 vs a left handed starter, 5-1 in Correia's last 6 home starts and 7-3 in his last 10 starts overall. At a good price I will take the Twins tonight at home.

Heat lean towards under when LeBron scores less than 20 points

LeBron James has scored less than 20 points in each of the first three games of the NBA Finals versus the San Antonio Spurs.

Down 2-1, the Miami Heat look to bounce back and even the series up Thursday. However, the last time that James totaled less than 20 points in three straight games was the 2011 finals versus the Dallas Mavericks. And we all remember how that turned out.

James has never had four straight games of less than 20 points.

In his three seasons with the Heat, counting both regular season and postseason, "King James" has scored less than 20 points in 41 games. Here is a look at Miami's numbers in those 41 games.

                            Straight up: 29-12
                            Against the spread: 22-18-1
                            Over/Under: 16-23-2 (Under 58 percent)

Bet365.com currently lists LeBron at 26.5 total points for Game 4 (Over -140/Under +100).

Thursday's MLB betting cheat sheet and tips

Check out our quick-hitting betting notes on all of Thursday’s evening MLB games.

Boston Red Sox at Baltimore Orioles (-101, 9.5)

Weather: High-70s. 70 percent chance of thunderstorms. Winds blowing left to right at 16 mph.

Probable starters: Red Sox LH Felix Doubront (4-3, 4.84 ERA) vs. Orioles RH Kevin Gausman (0-3, 8.84)

Gausman is still searching for his first major-league win and may have trouble holding onto his roster spot with another poor outing. The 22-year-old was lit up for seven runs in 4 1/3 innings at Tampa Bay on Saturday and has surrendered at least four runs in three of his four turns. The over is 6-1 in Boston’s last seven games overall.

Kansas City Royals at Tampa Bay Rays (-137, 7.5)

                              Weather: Dome

Probable starters: Royals RH Ervin Santana (4-5, 2.99 ERA) vs. Rays RH Jeremy Hellickson (4-2, 5.18)

Royals manager Ned Yost will miss the game to attend his daughter’s wedding and bench coach Chino Cadahia will take his place. Kansas City has won seven of its last eight games and the under is 7-0 in the Royals’ last seven games as an underdog of +110 to +150.

San Francisco Giants at Pittsburgh Pirates (108, 7.5)

Weather: Mid-60s. 30 percent chance of showers. Winds blowing out to right field at 14 mph.

Probable starters: Giants RH Matt Cain (4-3, 5.09 ERA) vs. Pirates RH Charlie Morton (2012: 2-6, 4.65).

Morton makes his return to the big leagues after undergoing Tommy John elbow surgery last year. He is 19-37 with a 4.85 ERA in 73 career starts for Pittsburgh. The Giants are 4-0 in Cain’s last four starts as a favorite.

Toronto Blue Jays at Texas Rangers (-199, 9)

Weather: Mid-90s. Clear with no chance of showers. Winds blowing in from right field at 5 mph.

Probable starters: Blue Jays RH Esmil Rogers (1-2, 3.60 ERA) vs. Rangers RH Yu Darvish (7-2, 2.75)

Rogers has been Toronto's best pitcher over the past four weeks, allowing just one run over his last 16 2/3 innings. Toronto is 4-1 in its last five games as an underdog.

Philadelphia Phillies at Minnesota Twins (+126, 7.5)

Weather: Low-70s. Clear skies expected. Winds will blow in from left field at 9 mph.

Probable starters: Phillies LH Cliff Lee (7-2, 2.55 ERA) vs. Twins RH Kevin Correia (5-4, 4.11)

Lee has not lost since May 1 and has posted seven straight quality starts while Correia has never had much success against Philadelphia, going 1-3 with an 8.64 ERA in 11 games - four starts. The under is 10-2 in Lee’s last 12 road starts.
