BIG AL's 71% ATS NCAA HOOPS HIGH ROLLER (6-0 Last 6) -- Saturday
At 7:45 pm, our selection is on Marquette minus the points over Butler. Although I'm not generally a fan of revenge situations in the Post-Season, this is one spot which I'll step into and play on the revenging Marquette Golden Eagles. These two teams met back in November, and Butler won 72-71 as a 4-point underdog, even though Marquette outshot Butler (49 to 44 percent), rebounded better and went to the free throw line more. Unfortunately, Butler committed just 7 turnovers (to Marquette's 14), and that was the one statistical category which allowed Butler to escape with a win. But Butler's been a bit careless with the ball of late, as it committed 20 turnovers two games back vs. St. Louis, and 14 in the Atlantic 10 semi-finals vs. La Salle. I like Marquette in this re-match, as it falls into a 71% ATS Tourney Revenge system of mine, and it's also 29-15 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss at home or on a neutral court. Take Marquette. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
