Analysis: My Double-Dime 9* TV Game of the Week is on the Mia Heat at 8:05 ET.The Chicago Bulls were shocked at home on Monday night, losing 87-84 to the pathetic Wizards. Sure, Rose (22.5-3.5-7.9) and Deng (15.4-6.5) did not play but C’MON, it’s the Wizards! Chicago rebounded last night (neither Rose nor Deng played, again) with a 100-66 win in Charlotte against the Bobcats (just how bad is MJ’s team?) and now travel to Miami for a game with the Heat. The Bulls own a 2 1/2-game lead over the Heat in the East and a win tonight would secure Chicago the No. 1 seed and home court advantage throughout the conference playoffs, as they would hold the tiebreaker should the Heat and Bulls wind up with the same record at season's end. "You try to put as many things in your favor as possible," coach Tom Thibodeau told the Bulls' official website. "Is (the No. 1 seed) a must? I always think if you can get it, you get it. If not, whatever your circumstances are you make the best of those circumstances." Rose has missed 25 games this season (team is 17-8 without him) and said, "Of course I would want to come back as soon as possible to get my rhythm going." My biggest thing is my heath now. Just getting me healthy I should be able to iron out the wrinkles. I would want to play as soon as possible. I miss the game." As for Deng, he feels confident he will return after also missing the last two. Chicago won 106-102 over Miami at home March 14. without Rose and then just last Thursday, pulled out a 96-86 overtime win over the Heat, despite only TWO points on 1-of-13 shooting from Rose. The Heat won the first meeting of the season between these two teams, 97-93 loss in Miami on Jan. 29. The Bulls have averaged just 90.3 PPG on 41.6 percent shooting in losing three in a row at Miami, including last year’s postseason. LBJ (27.1-7.9-6.3) scored 28 points and the Heat shot 52.6 percent Wednesday to improve to an NBA-best 26-4 at home, the team’s fourth straight win since losing in Chicago last Thursday. Wade (22.6-5.0-4.3) and Bosh (18.0-7.9) were given the night off but both are expected to be ready for this contest. James has averaged 33.3 PPG on 51.4 percent shooting vs Chicago this season and the man hoping to win this year’s MVP award knows, this is a game the Heat “must win.” I’m hardly a Heat fan or a LBJ one for that matter but this sure seems to be Miami’s game to win. That’s my bet.

DOUBLE-DIME -BET - SEATTLE (-144) vs CLEVELAND

Analysis: I'm laying the price with the Mariners & Fernandez on Thursday night. Waited before releasing this one with the opener coming out around -1.55 and we wanted to see which way the line was going to go. We got our wish - the line actually came down despite the big pitching mismatch. "King Felix" finally gets to face someone other than the Oakland A's and I believe he's in for a successful night. The righthander owns a lifetime 2.80 ERA in 10 career starts against the Indians and he's even better at home. Fernandez has thrown 21 innings in three home starts against the Tribe, allowing only 5 earned runs and 19 base runners with 19 strikeouts. That's a sizzling, 2.14 ERA & 0.90 WHIP. The Indians aren't likely to find success at the plate, scoring just 3.96 rpg on the road against righthanders since the start of last season. Meanwhile, Cleveland righty Josh Tomlin won't likely be able to match Fernandez. He's allowed 8 earned runs and 13 hits in 8 2/3 innings of work against the Royals and White Sox so far this season. I expect Seattle to give Hernandez all he needs as far as run support is concerned. The Indians are on a 24-57 slide as an underdog...they don't win the matchups they aren't supposed to. They're on a 0-4 slide when Tomlin is priced as a dog. I'm backing the Mariners on Thursday.
