The fucked up thing is that I don't want either of these guys to lose.

Fukuda got seriously fucked against Ring, and Cantwell needs this win BADLY.

Maybe in the UFC. Pulver did it in the WEC, though.

Actually no. I thought of fighters who I knew went on skids and he was literally the only one who actually had a 5 fight losing streak under Zuffa that I had thought of prior to searching the records over again.

Speaking of my favorite fighters, anyone think Serra will ever fight again? I'm not sure he does.

                  3U on Edgar at -120

Beat BJ Penn Twice and finished Maynard. After the shit that Edgar went through with Maynard, I don't think Dark Athleticism can finish him. Edgar will keep it standing and go for his point punching.

I don't think so. He's 37 yrs old and has gone further in his career than anyone thought possible. He probably just wants to focus on his MMA school now and be a trainer.

I doubt it. There's a reason he only fought like once a year when he WAS active last. He just doesn't really care about fighting, he's happy to just stay in relative shape and be a gym rat.

Probably best, to be honest, unless he gets another fight with someone like Trigg. He'll lose if he fights a top 10 kind of guy.

I think he'll be able to do what Ring did against Boetsch, but do it better and do it for 3 rounds. And even if Boetsch does get his hands on Okami, Okami's wrestling should be more than enough to keep him out of trouble.

Hmm, maybe. He'll probably have to hit +275 or better before I jump on it.
how do you see Bart winning this ? I like him at +odds too but I'm afraid Hioki will make this a close fight and get out with a home town decision. He is one of Japan's current top guy in the UFC so they might give it to him if it's close.

I'm mostly just looking at Hioki's underwhelming performance against Roop and Bart's general competence. I do think Hioki will probably walk away with it, but we all know about how well Japanese fighters have done in the US (minus Okami and, kind of, Mizugaki) and Bart is no joke.

^^ But this is not in the U.S.

That's what is making me hesitant. These oversees card are always weird. Who is judging this thing? If they have some Japanese judges, expect "wrestling" not to count in scoring.

The judges won't be Japanese appointed judges. All the overseas cards have the same old judges the UFC brings over.
