I really like both Wanderlei and Leben and don't want to see either lose. If Leben had beaten Stann then I would be pulling for Wand. But I really think maybe Leben needs the win more here. It's for damn sure not like the UFC will ever cut Wanderlei.I heart cockComment

"Sean Loeffler: I have trained with Dominick a bunch of times, which reminds me of a time long, long ago when me and Brodie Farber were on a little island off of the coast somewhere in the middle of the sea [and] stranded with only two things. The first thing was Travis Browne, so we knew we would be welcomed with open arms if we ran into any islanders; the second was a volleyball we named Wilson. It was just after a plane crash that we washed up on shore, and [to make a] long story short, we used the luggage and packages from the FedEx flight we were on to survive. Travis crushed coconuts with his bare hands and Brodie even did some dental surgery on me with an ice skate -- it hurt. We attempted escape many times on a raft made of bamboo and failed, but our last attempt worked. With long beards and dirty bodies, the three of us escaped, but we lost Wilson on our voyage off the island. We all screamed in sadness; we were like castaways then. After years on the island, we came home. Our wives had remarried and we each delivered one package that we saved from the island. Travis’ package was a neck brace for his next opponent. Brodie’s package was Rosetta Stone DVDs in Thai delivered to Steve Gable. And my package was an intricate game plan in a FedEx box instructing Dominick to begin using angles and extreme body movement, as well as takedown defense, to stifle Faber and defend the title. So yeah, it’s pretty much a done deal. Cruz wins."

Thanks. Bader has only stopped Magalhaes and Jardine in the UFC, and Vinny didn't last long at all and we know about Jardine's chin. And Tito is notoriously hard to stop.
That's not very useful, PP.Last edited by SPX; 07-01-2011, 04:31 PM.I heart cockComment

^ Pretty much. Bader does not have a lot of finishing tools and Tito is hard to stop. He won't be submitted, very unlikely he will get napped. He is hard to GnP (see Rashad, Machida, Randy). I am actually really curious to see what Tito's gameplan is. I just think he is going to be a little behind in everything. He might land some shots, but Tito has pillow hands.2012: +19.33

I think Bader's going to win a decision, but I really don't like laying prop bets at those kind of odds. I actually took Tito via decision at +500 instead. I want him to win anyway and now I won't have any psychological conflicts when the fight comes on.I heart cockComment

I almost never bet the decision props myself. I did bet Cruz by decision here, because Faber is just really tough to finish and Cruz is not a finisher. But I rarely do it, there are just too many variables. I would only do it at + odds personally. Silva could very well win a decision, he is not going to submit him so the prop values go up in fights like that. But in this case (Silva), I wouldn't bet it because I think it is just as likely that he wins with a KO, and his odds are not that bad.2012: +19.33
