I went to see Super 8 today.

It was pretty much fucking awesome. If you're a fan of 80s-era Spielberg films then you should love it.

Luke recently forced me at gunpoint to re-watch 2 Fast 2 Furious, insisting that it wasn't a terrible movie.

After watching it for the first time since seeing it in the theater when it came out, I have to at least admit that it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. It was okay. Not great, but okay.

I remember being disappointed, but I think that's because it can't touch the first one. On its own, it's kind of a fun movie. It at least has a lot of cool cars in it and a couple of really well choreographed racing sequences.

The bridge jump at the beginning was just gay though, and I just didn't like the Miami setting in general.

I dont consider 2fast 2furious a "good movie" like The Godfather but I do enjoy watching it . I still watch it about once every month or two on Starz .Overall I think of it as more of a goofy-funny movie than anything, but I do like it. With quotes like this :
