On my side, I don't understand why everyne is on Madsen that bad.
Madsen game is only wrestling, and Russow has been a NCAA Div 1 wrestler too
he has a really good submission game.
IMO it is going to be a pretty close fight

You gotta remeber that the only other wrestler that madsen faced was justin wren and it ended up in a controversial split decision

I'll probably be on Lowe. Why is lentz such a big favorite? Lowe is huge and a solid wrestler. Should be a better striker than lentz as well. Basically, i'm assuming most people see lentz outwrestling lowe to a decision which I don't think deserves a -260 line.

There are three things that I remember from the last time I watched Lowe:

1. He's huge.
2. He looks like Sean Sherk's less successful half-brother
3. He gasses hard

I think Lentz has better hands than Lowe. But I expect Lowe to be just as good or better with the takedowns. Lentz is a better all around grappler IMO and he is scrappy as hell. With Lowe gassing out, Lentz will take over. Still, not a bet at that line though for me.

I will probably be on Miranda at that line. I don't trust Hathaway since he got destoyed by Pyle, but he should win that easy. Sermerzier should destroy Bruce Leeroy.

I think Madsen-Russow will be close, but I think Madsen is actually pretty good. Going to have to look at some of these more.

I'm not sure I'd hold the Pyle loss against him too much. Mike Pyle has looked on top of it for a couple of fights now, and Hathaway has wins over both Sanchez and Story, so it's not like his undefeated streak was a fluke.

What's everyone think of Miranda at +190?

I think Simpson will definitely have an advantage early on... but I don't know that he has the tools to put Miranda away. Then when Simpson inevitably gasses out, I expect Miranda to threaten. If Miranda can get a takedown, Simpson is in trouble.

Well from what I heard, Miranda was an extremely good wrestler that was trying for the brazil olympic wrestling team.
When I looked at some of his fights, he was looking to have really really good jiu jitsu and also good striking.
He looked bad agains't Gerald Harris and really bad agains't Maia.
I had money on him over Maia because I tougth he would just wrestle him for 3 rounds, and his jiu jitsu was good enough to not get cought by Maia for 3 rounds.
The problem is that his wrestling is not that good. IMO this is the only thing I would want to know, is if his wreslting is good enough to not get down over and over again by simpson, or will he be able to get simpson down. To that question, I have no answer.

Simpson is a way better wrestler, I can say that with confidence. But Miranda also has jj, so he may be able to scramble up a lot and tire Simpson out. I don't think Miranda has a striking edge though... Simpson has power.

I'm genuinely surprised that his line didn't get much worse, much faster. I guess him getting fucked up by Mike Pyle had more of an effect on the betting public than I had expected.
