I haven't seen it, but wanted to. I am usually slow to get to the movies. I like to go on like a tuesday afternoon while the rest of the world is working and I usually go after the movie has been out several weeks. By the time I went to see Scott Pilgrim, it was already gone.

I heard a lot of bad reviews though... I think it did not do well because it is for a very specific audience. I was born in 1977, so I think I am at the tail end of the age group that it will hit.

The wife has yoga tonight, so I will watch and report back.

I wonder if people were just getting sick of Michael Cera.

I think that it's time he played against type so we know he can do more than just play one kind of character. Kind of like how nerdy Anthony Michael Hall bulked up and played the bully in Edward Scissorhands.

I am glad we agree. You are in the south too (right?), so voting really is a waste of your time. Here in Indiana, we sometimes go D, and sometimes R... but down there in the dirty south, you pretty much always go the same way don't you?

I vote because of the local races though... I mean county council pays $2000/year. You have to be a sadistic bastard to want to sit through all those meetings and listen to other people talk for $2 grand. Meetings are the worst thing in my life. I am like a little kid anytime I have to go to one... I start siging really loudly and squirming in my seat. I am not a team player.
