Dexter is less realistic, but I think they try to be as realistic as possible given the premise of the show.
      I still haven't seen The Sopranos, so . . . thanks.

This spoiler stuff is getting out of control.

I have to be allowed to talk about a show that happened 10 years ago, has been in reruns for years, and was news at the time. It is hard to believe it was over 10 years ago that Big Pussy Bonpensiero died on the Sopranos.

Seriously, if the movie is out right now, it is a spoiler. If it was 10 years ago, we have to move on.

I haven't seen Dexter, but mainly because I can't be bothered trying to catch up on another show.

I did that with The Sopranos, I'd never seen an episode until it was off the air. Then I went and downloaded the whole goddamn series. It definitely takes dedication and a lot of time. The Sopranos fucking rules though. A lot of times nothing happens, but then you never know when any character is going to get their shit pushed in.

Probably the funniest episode of the series. Great show, but you are right, you have to commit to it. It is sometimes slow moving. Tony is awesome though... like a giant 3 year old that whups ass with telephones and nails whores. I never watched it until it was finished either... I watched the first 5 seasons right before 6 was release on DVD. So had to wait like a month for season 6.

On a side note, I know you like Entourage too... it is hilarious that Meadow is on Entourage. I died laughing when she jerked Turtle off on the plane.

                Hah yeah.

I didn't even know who she was when she showed up on Entourage. Definitely the hotness though. Then I started watching The Sopranos and felt kinda dirty because she's like 12 years old in the first season, heh. And yeah Tony is awesome. That's a good comparison, he does just act like a spoiled kid. Does whatever he wants and throws tantrums at the drop of a hat.

I haven't been following Entourage this season. I watched the first few episodes but I kinda fell off. Anything good happening?

The last two episodes were really good. Without spoiling it (lol) not a happy ending for Vince or Ari.

Uh oh. That sounds interesting. I actually kinda stopped watching it because I feel the show has gone on for too long and is declining quite a bit. But I'm sure I'll end up watching it anyways.

                      Re: Off topic thread(basketball,movies,etc whatever)

I haven't seen all of the ths season yet.

It is definitely on the downhill side on the mountain... but I feel the same way about it as I do Dexter... yeah it is on the way down, but it is still way better than most of the other crap I can be watching. Bad seasons of Entourage beat the hell out of other comedies on TV.

I hardly watch TV at all, because I can't find anything I like. I like Sons of Anarchy. I like that new show "Terriers" on FX... other than that, I watch nothing on tv.

Speaking of FX, did you watch any of Louie (Louis CK's new comedy)? It's absolutely hilarious. And It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is another ridiculously funny show, but again I haven't watched much this season. Another reason I haven't been keeping up with all my shows is I've been watching a lot more sports this year. There seems to always be a basketball or football game on.

^^ I have seen Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That is a funny show... FX is coming on with some good stuff now that you mention it. They are like the basic cable HBO, a lot of good original programming. If you haven't seen Terriers, it is a good show IMO that should make it.

I never saw the other one, but it did look funny. I generally don't watch sports except Sunday aftenoons... so plenty of time to watch my stories.

BTW, if you've got a few minutes, here's a good intro to Louie. A bunch of comics sitting around a poker table ripping on the one gay dude. Amazing scene.

It is about 2 unlicensed PI's. Sort of a comedy drama. Donal Logue carries the show, as the former alcoholic ex cop...

It sounds sort of not good or formulaic when I describe it, but I actually like it quite a bit.
