Besides, there's only 3 songs on Recovery I'd really refer to as 'ballads'.

I will say that the more I've listened to Relapse, the more I've liked it.

Believe it or not, the Relapse album was the first full album I had ever heard. Before that, I had heard his stuff on the radio, but had never gone so far as to actually acquire any of his music.

I acquired and watched Scott Pilgrim vs The World recently. Seen it? Pretty much the awesomest movie ever.

A long time ago I read the first volume of the comic. I liked it, but it didn't grab me enough to make me get the rest. The movie was pretty awesome, though.

Graphic novels aren't my thing, so I was unfamiliar with the source material. But if you grew up on late 80s/early 90s video games you'll love it. The movie has so much style. It's bizarre in the most awesome of ways. It was like a 2 hour geekout for me. It's also hilarious with tons of satire.

They clearly made a decision to replace a lot of the generic "pop culture references" with "video-game references". I think it worked out.

I don't know why it didn't do that well at the box office. I wonder if people were just getting sick of Michael Cera.
