I don't think it's airtight, but I think JDS will get it done. Reem's not taking JDS down and I don't think JDS will try to take Reem down, so we can be pretty sure that it will entirely be a kickboxing match. And on the feet I just think that JDS will have a slight technical edge.

It wouldn't be a shocker to see Reem win, though. The line is kind of in a no man's land right now where I'm not going to touch it.

I agree that it will be a standup match. Reem is the kickboxing champion. I assume Reem's striking is better than JDS based on that.

Well JDS was a kickboxing champ in Brazil before transitioning into MMA. Granted that's not K-1, but I think he would've done well in K-1 if he had chosen that route instead. Of course this is just supposition, though.

Maybe you're right. Maybe Reem will win. Like I said, I favor JDS but it's not one of those fights I feel really strongly about.

To be fair Reem's run for the K-1 Grand Prix was kind of weak. He didn't have to face the favorite to win it all(Semmy Schilt), he got to fight a Ghokan Saki who had just gotten busted up and had a jacked arm already going in. And then he fought Aerts who had given everything he had left to beat Semmy Schilt.

I will say Overeem has the more varied striking attack, but JDS has precision striking in his hands that Reem just doesn't have.

I think JDS has better hands and better cardio. Also, we've seen Overeem get KO'd by strikers like Kharitonov before, so his defense isn't everything it could be.

Of course, I also think Overeem potentially has it in him to KO JDS, but I have to favor Dos Santos.

Mo would beat 90% of the LHW division in the UFC. Roger only has 5 fights, he will be fine. Roger will do well enough IMO, 205 has no submission specialists, so I think it is a good addition just for some variation in style. I hope he doesn't go to 185 as rumored, where Maia, Palhares and Jacare are carrying BJJ torch already.

There are obviously more deserving fighters out there... someone like James Toney or Kimbo Slice for example. Or maybe the Undertaker.
