TMNT II was at least watchable, unlike Turtles in Time, and I could see why it would appeal to children. But as an adult, I can only watch the first one and still enjoy it.

Nergo, I named like 5 movies I didn't like the other day that I don't like.

The English Patient, The Good Shepherd, Babylon AD, The Warrior's Way and Immortals.

It's like I said before, I usually won't sit down to watch a movie unless I feel pretty confident it's not going to be a waste of my time.

I liked The Empire Strikes Back and Attack of the Clones. All the others were kind of boring to me. And even with those two I don't have any burning desire to see them again.

The truth is that even with the movies I like, I just like them . . . it's rare that my appreciation of a movie flows into love territory.

The last time I saw a movie in the theater where I was disappointed that the movie was over was when I went to see Walk the Line.

I was prime toy age when Return of the Jedi came out... So like most guys my age, I love Star Wars. My son loves that shit too, so it has just stayed around. We have several light sabres and do battle on a nightly basis. If you don't like Star Wars, you are a communist and hate America.

Also, Foam Fist is the official new name for boxing.

Finally saw the girl with the dragon tattoo. Excellent movie, but the ending kinda sucked. I wanted to see the girl Happy at the end.

Two things here worth mentioning. . .

1. The ending of the American film is different from the ending of the Swedish film. Not sure which one is more true to the book.

2. This is merely the first of a trilogy, so the story ain't over yet.
