Gold Standard on Santa Clara I expected a double-digit number in this rematch at Santa Clara’s home gym. While the Broncos took care of business last time out, beating the Waves 78-72 in Malibu, the Waves have seen their ability to score diminish in their last 2 games, only managing 61 points in both games on their home court. A trip to Santa Clara against the tall and athletic Broncos squad will not be the answer they are looking for. Pepperdine has reached a point in their season where they are struggling to score against the top WCC teams. Additionally, the Broncos have covered a double-digit spread twice in a row including one road affair bringing their conference record against the number to a profitable 5-1.
