Presque Isle Downs - Race #3

#4 Hector	The other serious pace he's meeting seems a bit cheaper, and I think he's got a shot to turn away the other forward players and find enough to win right back. Runner up from the graduation run was back to score -- by a neck -- at 1/5 in the follow up
#2 Ms. Tart	Not going to hold the flat GI try against her at 58/1, as she's probably going to produce something more like a reasonable second-out run here today. Tough but likely overbet.
#3 Ninja Star	He's probably going to be in line for a good trip spying the speed, and he makes a lot of sense if he can bounce back to something like the good local try here in August.
Race Summary	Fun race with stakes droppers from Woodbine, Gulfstream, and Kentucky Downs. Hector is a local riser facing winners for the first time, but he might be fast enough to control this from the start.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7

#7 Determined Gold	She comes out of a four-horse race in which she didn't turn in a huge effort, but she has a little bit of ability to get past horses, and that might serve her well with confirmed pace to her inside.
#6 Vaccina	She's dangerous on the front end, but she's running into a stretchout player and another route speed type in here, so I wonder if she's going to get to relax much today. Will probably try to put them away into the lane again.
#1 Lovely Ever After	She's capable of something a little bit better than she showed last time out, but she's often along too late and hasn't offered many appealing prices on her page. Possible, but not for me.
Race Summary	Determined Gold might land a great run in here while a couple forward players get to work early, and I think the price will get a bit better this time around, too.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #8

#1 Shaken and Shimmy	He has already had some chances at this level, but I think his running style fits the likely race flow today, and the runner up in his last was back to roll home in the next start. Think he makes some sense.
#2 Disaster Recovery	He has never been in this cheap, but I'm not all that thrilled about the plunge off the fading effort last time out, and I think there might be enough pace lined up in here to keep him honest. I don't know...
#11 Twist of Faith	He's another player in here who can flash a little bit of speed, but I'm worried about how hard he might have to work to find a prompting spot from out here early. Obvious player on class.
Race Summary	Shaken and Shimmy took a nice step forward last time out and might get a decent setup while tracking in behind the pace players. Price might be right with a couple droppers likely to command cash.

The rest of the bunch may trail this racer all the way around the track. Likes to go to the lead and the fact that today is a shorter trip should be beneficial. LAND MARK DEAL - Have to make this gelding a win candidate; he comes off a nice outing on September 30th. I like this horse. Should be familiar with this class level since he ran against the same type last race out at FanDuel Horse Racing. (EPS) earnings per start is something that I believe can be a valuable factor. This horse is ranked numero uno in this bunch. GLOBAL EMPIRE - Clearly didn't like the surface of the last clash as much as two starts back on the dirt. Watch out today for a return to a sharp race.

The speed figure of 54 from his most recent affair looks strong in here. MADE TO FIT - This gelding has a strong win percent in dirt sprint races. VICTOR STORY - Jock jumped on this mare's back for the first attempt on October 2nd. Should be in tune with the animal even better today. A thoroughbred coming back this soon after a sharp race is a good sign. The October 2nd clash at Mountaineer Park was at a class level of (62). Dropping down the class scale a significant amount, so she should be in a good spot. She has the highest (EPS) earnings per start. Take a good look at this animal. Have to like the way Jensen has raced this mare back into shape off the layoff. Horse is well spotted in this sprint and I think she'll run well today. NURSE KATIE - Ran in the last race against a better group of horses at Mountaineer Park. The move down in the class scale should suit her well. Mare is a few starts into a return to racing here. Should give a big performance today.

None to be found in here to set things up for this mount. Improbable that the fig she garnered on October 4th will hold up in this affair.
