Event: The Honda Classic Outright Winner
    Sport/League: GLF
    Date/Time: March 18, 2021 10AM EDT
Play: Russel Henley to Win The Honda Classic (+3000)
    The Honda Classic
    Outright Winner DraftKings
On the outright market I’m looking at Russell Henley currently listed at 30-1. Henley missed the cut last week at the Players but the pedigree for so many guys this season has been to win off a MC or at least off a stretch of not playing well. Still he has been solid on the season with 8 cuts made in 11 starts including two Top 5’s. He ranks 6th in Strokes Gained Approach this season and 17th in SG Tee to Green thanks to ranking 20th in Fairways hit and 12th in Greens in regulation.
His course history here is very strong as well. He is a past champion back in 2014, has made the cut in 7 of 8 starts and is coming off a Top 10 here last season.
For DFS players, he is available for $9,800 at DraftKings and $10,900 at Fan Duel.
For a Leaderboard bet this week take reigning Korn Ferry Tour Championship winner Brandon Wu who earned three PGA Tour starts in each of the next three events thanks to a T7 in Puerto Rico just a couple weeks ago. He is another one of those young up and comers who will make a name for himself on the Tour soon. He probably isn’t ready to win yet, but +275 for a Top-20 seems like a very good bet this week.
And for DFS players, Wu is a steal this week at $7,800 at DraftKings and $9,300 at FanDuel.
TAKE RUSSELL HENLEY OUTRIGHT +3000 & BRANDON WU TOP-20 +275

Event: (224437) Dinamo Zagreb at (224438) Tottenham
      Sport/League: SOC
      Date/Time: March 18, 2021 1PM EDT
      Play: Tottenham ML +100
We like Tottenham to win and advance against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday.
Domestic form aside, Tottenham have been ruthless in this competition to date, and while Zagreb have formidable home form, Spurs should have too much for them here on Thursday.
Tottenham have netted 3+ goals in three of their last Europa League road games, scoring in both halves and opening the scoring inside the first 15 minutes in two of them, along with scoring in or after the 70th minute in their last six consecutive Europa League games as well.
Dinamo Zagreb's manager Zoran Mamic was given a 4 year prison sentence on Monday for fraud to compound matters further for the Croatian side so as poor as Tottenham's road form has been domestically of late, we believe they can get the road win here and move on to the next round.
Take Tottenham on the moneyline for Thursday.

Event: (713) Drake at (714) Wichita State
        Sport/League: CBB
        Date/Time: March 18, 2021 6PM EDT
        Play: Wichita State +1.5 (-105)
        713 Drake vs. 714 Wichita State +1.5, 141
Both of these bubble clubs have arrived in Indianapolis with schemes that are more alike than most understand. Drake was perfect for most of the season before experiencing a bad loss in Indiana to Valparaiso. The Bulldogs were 15-3 in the regular season, losing to Valpo, Loyola Chicago, and Bradley. Drake entered the At-Large realm after losing to Loyola for a second time this season in the conference tournament.

Wichita State finished the regular season 15-4 overall and 11-2 in the American portion of their slate. The non-conference portion of the Shockers schedule found WSU losing to Missouri and Oklahoma State. The Wheat Shockers earned non-con wins against South Florida and Ole Miss.

The Shockers are undervalued in the big picture. According to KenPom, the program ranks 74 in Division I but garnered an 11 seed and is one of the schools scheduled for Thursday's First Four rotation. The Shockers played a schedule that prepares them for this contest against Drake, and the small number they are laying to the Bulldogs offers over-the-top value. The play is backing Wichita State +1.5.

Surprised the Wolf Pack are not favored here. We really like the way this team finished the season. Winning five straight games before being embarrassed in the conference tournament by Syracuse. All five of those victories were backed up by the advanced stats.
Davidson dropped three of five to end the season. This team is only 1-5 straight up against Top 60 opposition this season. The Wolf Pack are ranked 54th in the country. Wrong team favored.

                          Jeff Siegel's Black Book

                          March 17, 2021

Jeff Siegel’s Santa Anita Black Book identifies West Coast runners that appear ready for a major effort based on their performance in their most recent race and contains a video analysis that explains why each horse has been selected. These horses should be added to your stable mail so that you’ll be alerted when and where they are re-entered. The list is updated each week, with horses considered “active” for 90 days, or until they run back for the first time since being featured.

Current “live” list (listed in alphabetical order):

                            Fair Grounds - Race #4
                            Picks Notes
#8 Schmoozin He's getting short on excuses in this eleventh start, but he has only been able to get on the grass once from four times entered for it, so he may still have a bit more to show on the turf than we've seen.
#2 Established Comeback race in the Oaklawn mud wasn't much, but he has shown a really high ceiling, and he can move forward in this second start off the break.
#9 Awesummer Steps up while protected off the claim, and he has shown some route pace before fading in both lifetime tries. I like the class hike off the claim, and that route pace cutting back may make him a danger at this trip.
Race Summary Schmoozin has good tactical pace and has only had one chance on the grass so far in his career. His baseline effort keeps him in the mix if he can transfer it to the turf.

                            Fair Grounds - Race #5
                            Picks Notes
#7 Goulding She has landed a couple of underneath slices with similar, and there are some forward players signed on here that might produce a decent pace for her to spy. That 2/1 ML price might be a little short for me.
#1 Gianna's Gift She might wind up with a tough trip from the rail if the other pace hassles her, but she has a mild rating gear if push comes to shove and she needs to settle into the pocket.
#4 Tipsy Gal She has some finishing ability that may play well in this spot, but it seems like she'll probably find one or two of these a bit too tough for her today.
Race Summary Goulding would be a bit unappealing at the 2/1 ML price, but she should trip out from close range while drawing outside of all the pace.

                            Fair Grounds - Race #8
                            Picks Notes
#1 Zero to Sixty She gets back to what she does best here, sprinting on the turf. She figures to get a decent finishing trip while cutting back for this one, and a cozy rail trip could be waiting.
#4 Oooh Barracuda Her two turf sprints were pretty slow, but she showed up with competitive efforts. She has some upside on the move back to the grass, and the price will be right to see if she can get in the frame.
#6 Lady Anna Versatile pedigree suggests the move to the grass won't be an issue, and she's likely to find a really nice pressing trip from this draw.
Race Summary Zero to Sixty can hug the fence and find a seam late, and she brings back turf sprint form that would make her a handful if she's able to rediscover it.

                              Frank Carulli's Daily Picks

                              Dover Downs - Race #6
                              Picks Notes
#2 DINA BOLT N Closed with a flourish two starts back at this level, can be closer to pace.
#6 SWEET SUN DAZE Paced evenly in 1:50 flat, often close, could hold tactical edge.
#7 OK KUDO Rallied for two wins and a second at good odds in last three starts.
Race Summary Dina Bolt N back-pedaled readily against better rivals at the Meadowlands last out, but he can win with a clean trip and a duplicate of his prior start at Dover. He saved ground in fourth, stayed inside as the outer flow developed, then found his best stride late while 4-wide between rivals. Play 2-6 and 2-7 exactas.

                              Woodbine-Mohawk Park - Race #2
                              Picks Notes
#2 PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE Qualifier warrants longshot play in weak field.
#6 JACKSON STORM Has speed, coming up short in stretch, Filion tries his hands.
#1 GOLDEN COMPASS Caught by the fave at 62-1 after three rivals went off stride.
Race Summary Prestige Worldwide opened a commanding lead in a qualifier at half-mile Flamboro Downs, presumably with 'hopples off' equipment change. He's worth a price shot against a field that is a combined 1-59 with nine seconds.

                              Woodbine-Mohawk Park - Race #5
                              Picks Notes
#2 RUBY ON RAILS Rallied for a win and two seconds to start 4yo season, projects ideal trip.
#5 BIG MYRTLE Sports 18/5-4-5 record and her versatility comes in handy in this spot.
#1 STATE OF MIND Unbeaten at 2, takes on elders in her first start as a 3-year-old.
Race Summary Ruby On Rails upstaged a pair of runner-up finishes at the Meadowlands with a winning rally in the Blizzard series last out as the favorite. She should get plenty of pace to make a 'repeat' run at.
