    UNDER 146
    VILLANOVA @ ST. JOHN'S | 1/28 | 6:30 PM EST
    10:15 AM
The Wildcats are playing great basketball having won six straight games. They are allowing 62.7 a per game during their winning streak, helping the Under cash in seven of the last nine games and four straight on the road. Meanwhile the Red Storm have seen the Under cash in eight of their last 10. Look for a much lower score than this numbers suggests.

    ST. LOUIS +102
    ST. LOUIS @ CALGARY | 1/28 | 9:00 PM EST
    10:08 AM
The Blues lost a tough game last night and have now dropped three straight however, they have won both meetings against the Flames this season. Meanwhile Flames G David Rittich is just 2-4 with a .894 save percentage in his last six starts and lost 5-0 in his start against the Blues earlier this year. St. Louis needs this win. Blues money line is the play.

    BUFFALO -192
    OTTAWA @ BUFFALO | 1/28 | 7:00 PM EST
    10:00 AM
The Senators lost a tough game last night at home against the Devils and now have to face a Sabres team that has won three of its last four. The Sabres have played well at home (14-6-3) while the Senators are just 5-15-4 on the road. Ottawa also has dropped five of the last six meetings in Buffalo. The Senators were playing horribly prior to the break, and it doesn't look like that is going to change. Sabres money line is the play.

        UNDER 138
        PITTSBURGH @ DUKE | 1/28 | 9:00 PM EST
        10:36 AM
Duke is a dangerous team that can score but the Blue Devils face a Pitt team that ranks second in the ACC in scoring defense, allowing just 62.1 points a game. Duke has been clamping down defensively and faces a team that is 13th in the ACC in shooting (41.6 percent). The Under has cashed in five straight meetings. Under is the play.

              7-Unit Play. Take #620 VCU (-8.5) over Richmond (7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
The public is all over Richmond in this game. And for good reason. This is a really tough Spiders team that is among the best in the A-10. However, the line has moved the other way and that reverse line movement, despite the lopsided action, is kind of a red flag here. Richmond is in a letdown spot after they took a big swing and miss at Dayton at home on Saturday and I don't know what they have in the tank, emotionally. Richmond is still missing leading scorer Blake Francis. And even though they still have a pair of nice guards in Jacob Gilyard and Nick Sherod, Francis was a difference maker. VCU was one of the worst ATS teams in college basketball to start this season, going

4-13 ATS to start the year. That's despite the fact that this team is legit and is just a tick behind Dayton among the A-10's best. VCU has been known to go ape on people in their home gym, and they will be ready for this game against an in-city rival. The Rams have won and covered three straight games, all by double-digits, and if you throw out their home loss to Rhode Island they have won every home game since mid-November by double-digits. It is tough to lay this many points in a rivalry game. But with the injury, the letdown fact, VCU's momentum, home court advantage, betting against the public and the reverse line movement there are just too many things pointing VCU's way to ignore.

              3-Unit Play. Take #628 Rutgers (-2.5) over Purdue (8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
I know it is hard to take this moribund Rutgers program seriously. However, they are legit. This is a very good team and they deserve every bit of their Top 25 ranking. They have been waiting for a big game like this - at home, against a traditional Big Ten power - for a long, long time and I think that they are going to be ready to go. The RAC can be a really tough place to play and I think it will be turned up to 11 tonight. Beyond that, I just don't think that Purdue is very good. They played out of their minds against Wisconsin last Saturday. But this team has been a train wreck on the road this year. They don't shoot the ball well and Rutgers has more than enough athleticism to give this team real problems. I'll go with the home team and I think that Rutgers is going to get one of its best wins in ages.

              3-Unit Play. Take #640 Duke (-16) over Pittsburgh (9 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
I think that Pittsburgh turns the ball over way too much to stay close in a game like this. I like the Panthers. They have talented guards and they put in a lot of effort. But if you look at their efforts on the road and their efforts against top competition you can see blowout potential here. Duke's perimeter pressure should neutralize Pitt's backcourt. The Panthers have very little size, with none of their starters going taller than 6-6, and that's just not going to cut it against the Blue Devils. Duke's last several home wins have come by 30, 31, 39, 25 and 29 points. I really don't see any reason they couldn't do it again here tonight.

              1-Unit Play. Take #643 Utah State (-13) over Wyoming (11 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
Wyoming is not a real basketball team. They are like a fringe D-I team toiling in a serious mid-major conference. They have routinely gotten smoked and are just 1-13 SU in their last 14 games against D-I competition. That one win came against Denver, a bottom 50 team, and it was in overtime. Utah State is a different team now that Neemias Queta is back in the fold. And they have some ground to make up after a shaky start to conference play. I know this game is on the road, but they should be able to pick their score here.

1-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 134.5 Mississippi State at Florida (7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)

7-Unit Play #543-544 Boston/Miami GAME TOTAL UNDER 219.5 (Tuesday, January 28 at 8:00 PM ET)
Take Boston/Miami GAME TOTAL UNDER as my top NBA pick for Tuesday night. This pick falls into one my top NBA systems and I expect a very low-scoring game here tonight given the way these 2 teams match up against each other. These 2 teams met once already this season and put up 205 total points and 8 of their last 8 meetings have gone under 216 total points. Boston has allowed just 104.6 points per game on the road this season with opponents shooting 43.3% against them and Miami has allowed just 105.9 points per game at home this season with opponents shooting 43.5% against them. Miami's opponents have shot just 31.9% against them from beyond the arc at home this season and I look for them to step up defensively here tonight like they did against Orlando last night holding Orlando to just 92 points. You can also expect Boston to step up defensively here tonight after giving up 123 points to New Orleans in their last game. Play the UNDER as we move to +6,380 in the NBA since November 27 and make it 20 of 28 winning days to start 2020. Make sure that you also get on my top College Basketball Play that goes Tuesday night as I look for a sweep on the hard-court.

6-Unit Play. #605. Take Under 134.5 Mississippi State vs. Florida (Tuesday @ 7pm est)
Note, we are likely to have another 7*NBA Selection today as well as we are on a 6-0 Run for +3400 and already +6100 on the year in the NBA including a perfect 8-0 with 6* NBA Selections this year. We roll with the Under here as Coach Michael White essentially called his team "soft" after the loss to Baylor which included their lack of play on the defensive end. It's tough and harsh language when facing basically the #1 team in the land to call the team soft but this is something that without a doubt his team will look to respond here. This is a Florida team that held Auburn to 45 points at home and Ole Miss to 55 points. They come off back to back losses and they are very upset but then again you have a Mississippi State team that has lost 3 in a row in conference games and then started crushing opponents beating Missouri by 27 points, Georgia by 30+ points and Arkansas by 7 points. Mississippi State is a sneaky good defensive team and consequently this game is likely to go Under here. Let's pick up a great winner here and note we likely have a 7*NBA Selection, sitting at +6000 on the year, 6-0 Run for +3400 and 8-0 with 6* Selections this year in the NBA, just a remarkable NBA Season.

                          3-Unit Play. Take #601 Villanova (-3) over St. John's (6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
I will go with Villanova in this one. St. John's is coming off a nice upset win over DePaul over the weekend. That snapped a three-game losing streak and the Red Storm have still lost six of their last eight games. Villanova has won six straight and they are 12-1 SU in their last 13 games. Villanova has won eight of the last 10 meetings with St. John's and I think that they are going to get the job done again here. Lay the points.

                          4-Unit Play. Take #606 Florida (-6) over Mississippi State (7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28)
This line opened at -4.0. It has steamed to -6.0. Some books are already moving Florida to -6.5. All of the sharp money is on the home team here. The Gators were favored over the No. 1 team in the country on Saturday so they should be a strong home favorite here against a middle-of-the-pack SEC team. Mississippi State has lost four straight games on the road and the home team has won four of the last five meetings in this series. Florida has won eight of the last nine meetings in this series and the home team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings between these two teams. Take Florida here.
