Dallas made a big trade to bring in Amari Cooper before the trade deadline. The Cowboys have had two weeks to get Cooper used to the offense in Dallas and I think that he will have a big game in his first game in Big D. Both teams are coming off a bye. But I give the advantage to the home Cowboys. Dallas is an outstanding 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games after a bye. The Titans are just 2-6 ATS after a bye week. The Titans are just 11-23 ATS in their last 34 road games and they are just 9-27 ATS against teams that have a losing record. The Cowboys have gotten healthy on their defense and they are ready to get back into the NFC East race. The Titans have lost three straight games and this team is going to continue to struggle. I think that Dallas will pull away and win this one by at least two touchdowns. Lay the points.

This game has more to do with the Cowboys than it does the Titans. Tennessee is mostly an afterthought right now and their play is up and down at best through seven games. They have a very capable roster but Marcus Mariota has yet to play his best game and their defense is average right now as well. Dallas is in the public spotlight again after they added Amari Cooper this week and with the rest of their talent they appear to be going after a playoff run. Unfortunately for the Dallas faithful, who are mostly delusional, they arent very good so laying 5.5 seems wrong so take the points.

I don't love the Cowboys. But this is a pretty good spot for them here. First, we have both teams coming off a bye week. So that limits the impact of the extra week off, which has not been a net positive for teams ATS over the last five years. Second, this Cowboys team is in desperation mode. They know they need to make moves fast. And I think that they will give one of their best efforts of the season. Besides that, I just think that the Titans suck. Sure, they fluked their way to some early season success. But what does this team really do well? They have been outgained in three of their last four games. They should be 2-5 were it not for a fluke win over Philadelphia (at home, in overtime). They lost to the damn Bills! Their three wins have come by a combined nine points and these guys have been outgained by 60 yards per game and outscored by three points per game on the season. They aren't good. Dallas has taken care of its business at home. And they have been very good off a bye week, going 13-6 ATS. The Titans are 11-23 ATS on the road, 9-27 ATS against teams with a losing record and 2-6 ATS after a bye. No thanks. I'll take the Cowboys.
