Milwaukee v Boston NBA
Their offence was once again missing on the road and that’s become the exact reason why they won’t win this series, regardless of what happens in this one.
Marcus Smart’s return was a huge boost for Brad Stevens’ Celtics and he is very much the extra piece they need when heading on the road trying to close out this series.
What Milwaukee need however is a locked in Giannis Antetokounmpo after the Greek Freak was held to just 10 field goal attempts in Game 5.
The Bucks’ star acknowledged the need to be more aggressive after the game and we expect Milwaukee to come out pushing the tempo on their home court.
In the first four games of this series they shot well over 50% from the field, but were held to just 36.8% shooting last time out.
While the Celtics offence also struggled on the road once this series we feel they’ll have enough opportunity in transition to score upwards of 100 points in this one, giving us great value on the Over.
Despite that crucial Game 5 win the home side struggled to find their range from deep, but that won’t stop them from jacking up shots from beyond the arc.
The decision to move Al Horford back to centre payed dividends for Stevens and we expect him to start their again in this one.
That move creates a genuine playmaker inside that can help create space around the perimeter for Boston’s guards.
Our data is showing this one to go Over the total by 8.7 points which leaves us with a strong lean on the total here.
Five of the last six meetings between these sides in Milwaukee have gone Over the total and we expect that trend to continue in what should be a high-octane affair.
