Analysis:
This is yet another case of a bad matchup. When Houston loses or struggles it's almost always against a teaöm that plays physical, which San Diego State does. That's not the case just this year, but seemingly every year. I really like what the Aztec's are doing right now. They've won nine straight, beating Nevada twice and cruising through the Conference Tournament. They're healthy. The last game the lost was at Nevada (badly) but they didn't have Trey Kell who is clearly their best defensive player. The Malik Pope bullsh*t is at least for now behind them. San Diego State has a massive length advantage here and should simply dominate the boards. The Aztecs beat Gonzaga, so they can beat anyone. Houston lost to Memphis, Tulane, and Drexel, so they can lose to anyone. San Diego State will have only had five days' rest - but Houston will only have four after losing a hard-fought last-second game in the AAC Conference Finals. This is a case of at the very least a last possession game, if not at best the wrong team favored here.

More later - I thought Iê'd like South Dakota, and to some extent I do, but when I did the ACTUAL WORK this became a much more obvious scenario.

Analysis:
So it opened -16 or so. Then Azubuike is downgraded for Thursday, and bang. Line drops. Well, the just beat WVU and Oklahoma State by this many without him. The K-State game was off because the Wildcats were down perhaps their two best players. Well, then, Penn likes to run, too! Maybe they have a chance. Wait, they had the second best three point defense in the nation! Well, yes, they did - against primarily the Ivy League. When the play at Villanova, who shoot three's, they only lost by 28 points. Wait, Kansas won't turn it on eaÌrly. No, you wait - last year in round one they beat UC Davis by 38. The year before they beat Austin Peay by 26. The year before that they beat New Mexico State by 19. The game in in Witchita which is in Kansas. Penn has had four days rest - so, tell me how this is close? It could be, but I don't see how.
