There is no Thanksgiving without Dallas Cowboys football. There is always a Cowboy game during the Thanksgiving football special and this year is not an exception.
Dak Prescott pairs with rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott and the best offensive line in football to beat up and beat down opponents. There is no secret to the Dallas game plan, which calls for that big offensive line to usher Elliott all over the field and make life less stressful for Prescott, who will see if his great wide receiver, Dez Bryant can get open and disrupt Washington's CB Josh Norman. This is their second meeting with the Redskins this year. In Week 2, they stole the game from the Skins in Washington. They are a much better team now than they were then and it’s going to be even harder for Washington to get the job done in Arlington, Texas. Dak Prescott looks like a veteran quarterback already with 17/2 TD's to INT's. He’s also making plays with his feet creating a dynamic dual-threat problem for opposing defenses. For Washington, a big X-factor for this game is the health of one DeSean Jackson. Jackson is one of the best deep-threat wide receivers in the game, but he is questionable to play because of a shoulder injury. As the Cowboys ground game gets going and they limit their mistakes, they should win with ease. The game will go a long way in determining the winner of the division. The Cowboys have scored fewer than 27 points just once since Week 2, and their two rookie MVP candidates seem to get better each week. The difference in Thursday’s contest could come in the running game. Dallas’ ability to move the ball on the ground while stopping opposing rushers makes them extremely difficult to defeat, especially when they take a lead.
Defensively, only the Ravens and Carolina Panthers have surrendered fewer rushing yards than Dallas. They haven’t let any player run for more than 57 yards in each of the last three games.Comment
