NY Giants +7 (-110)

The Giants have been playing poorly of late, and they got their asses handed to them Monday night, but they know how to take on an undefeated team late in the season, nearly beating the then undefeated Patriots in week 17, losing by 3 at home 38-35, then ending the Patriots perfect dream in the SuperBowl 14-14 as nearly 2 TD dogs in each game. The talk of an undefeated season, and the Giants recent play has the Packers getting a lot of love.

*Play on any Home Underdog of 5.5 points or more, off a road loss of 21+ points 26-10 ATS since 2006 (4-0 ATS, 2-2 SU this year)

The Giants season may be circling the drain, but I have to think they are up for the chance to knock another team from the chance of all time greatness.

Vikings 1st Half -125 Pickem

Looking to avoid a potential TBowing in the back door... Minnesota has played better football in the fist half then the Broncos do, looking for the Vikings run defense to come out swinging at home against a team playing its 4th roadie in 5 weeks. Denver has only led 2x at the half this year.

Interesting game to cap as Jacksonville cut ties to HC Del Rio, and San Diego has made noise that Norv Turner will be tossed after the season as well. Replacing Del Rio is Jags DC Mel Tucker, who has got to be a bit out of sinc this week, as he adjusts to the new responsibilities of the Head Coaching position, and likely has not been able to spend the time he has been week in and week out with his defense, who will be without 3 corners tonight (Will Middleton, Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox) as they face a Charger team that had success against them last year, when Rivers threw 3 TD passes and finished with 334 passing yards in a 38-13 victory. I expect Tucker to open up the offense, and try to take some shots down the field against a Chargers secondary that has not been good this year, and ranks 30th in defensive passer rating. Jacksonville should be able to move the ball on the ground, San Diego has allowed anaverage of 157 rushing yards in last four games, so the play action pass could be quite effective if rookie QB Blaine Gabbert can connect with his wideouts. In a game with zero playoff implications, and the players and coaches auditioning for jobs, I am playing a rare over the total.

OVER 38.5 (-108)
