4 Unit Play. #122 Take Detroit Lions -3 over St. Louis Rams (Sunday 1 pm Fox)

The Lions find themselves winless on the season and the Rams are 2-2, yet Detroit is around a field goal favorite in this matchup. How can that be? Well, for starters the Lions have played a brutal schedule to open the 2010 season with three divisional games coming on the road. They played well in all three of those games and many people feel that they beat the Bears in Week 1, but the process of completing the catch was not fully completed by WR Calvin Johnson. The Rams have shown improvement under QB Sam Bradford, but they have not won three straight games since 2006. The Lions will have revenge on their minds after losing to St. Louis last season, 17-10. In fact, that was the Rams only victory on the season. The Lions need a win to put to bed all doubts of another winless season, and it will come this afternoon at Ford Field. The strength of schedule between these two teams is wide and, thus, Detroit will pull away late to win this game by double digits. St. Louis is 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as an underdog of less than three points.

DETROIT LIONS 28, ST. LOUIS RAMS 17

5 Unit Play. #133 Take San Diego Chargers -6 over Oakland Raiders (Sunday 4:15 pm CBS) We went against the Raiders as our top play last week and will continue to ride that ship this week when they host the San Diego Chargers. The Raiders still do not have a quarterback and retread Bruce Gradkowski is not the long-term answer for this franchise. The Chargers have stumbled out of the gates once again and cannot afford a slip-up in this game since they are two games behind Kansas City in the loss column. In the Chargers two wins this season, they have come by an average of 28 points per game. The Chargers have won 13 straight games versus the Raiders and laying this small of wood is too good to pass up. The Raiders are 15-36 ATS in their last 51 home games. The Chargers are 24-11 (4 pushes) ATS in their last 39 AFC West games. Play the visitor and double your money yet again.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 31, OAKLAND RAIDERS 17

4 Unit Play.#136 Take San Francisco 49ers -3 over Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday 8:20 pm NBC) The 49ers have yet to win a game in 2010, but they still have a great chance to win the NFC West since nobody has run away with the division. San Francisco has played three road games in their first four games of 2010 and despite being 0-4, they are 2-2 ATS. QB Michael Vick is out and that leaves QB Kevin Kolb to take the reins and he has not shown anything during his limited regular season action. This will be Philadelphia'sthird road game in four weeks and making a cross country flight will eventually catch up with them. The 49ers still have a solid defense and the Eagles defense is not what it once was during their runs to the NFC Championship Games. The Eagles are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games. San Francisco is 4-0 (1 push) ATS in their last five home games. San Francisco gets healthy at home and we collect big in the process as well.

San Diego Chargers are tough at home, averaging 39.5 points and 448 yards per game, but away from home are a different team. They have played sloppy on the road and averaging just 17 points per game. In spite of this, Oakland’s defense will be overpowered by Philip Rivers and crew and take their 14 in a row over Oakland. The Chargers have won the last 13 meetings over Oakland by an average of 14.4 points. San Diego is 7-1 ATS in its last eight games versus the Raiders in Oakland
